Hi Jenni,

Norma charges $100 for the brides makeup and $50.00 per bridesmaid. Someone posted her email above.

I am interested in doing the cocktail hour after ceremony + a 3 hour reception. But I was also told there is a 3 hour per day limit. Let me know what your planner tell you on that :-)

My email is nicolew412@gmail.com. I'd really appreciate it if you could email me the private function location pictures you have. I was wanting to do the reception on the sky terrace with pool and bar.

Good luck with everything!

OH MY PRICES FOR NORMA WAS FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP. I DIDNT GET A QUOTE FOR JUST MAKE UP. SORRY IF I CONFUSED ANYONE

I was told about the 3 hour limit per day. I am doing a cocktail hour and then 3 hour reception (had to pay for the extra hour)

Oh, I didn't think about that. I highly doubt it! Makeup and hair people will only be there for 2 hours at most. If anything, you may just have to pay a $90 day pass.

Yes i was told I have to pay the $90 visitor pass for the hair and make up person n($190 total)

I havent even thought about the tipping- I feel like i have put Margarita through the ringer with all my questions. But i would be tipping who ever my coordinator is. I think $50 sounds about right

Hi ladies! I'm considering booking Beach Palace for our wedding this December and I've submitted the "wedding proposal" online last week but have yet to hear back from anyone. The website said someone will contact me within 48 hours but it's been more than a week already! How long did it take for you ladies for someone to contact you regarding reserving a wedding date?? Without knowing the availability, I can't really go ahead to book my trip... Or can I? How did you ladies start this process? I'm so clueless here..... Any advice would be much appreciated!!! Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

I remember it took a while for someone to get back to me aswell. I suggest emailing Margarita- she is one of the wedding planners. Just ask her to put you in touch with the correct person.

Margarita Arellano Patiño <marellano@palaceresorts.com>

I would wait until you have a confirmed date before you book your trip! Make sure you and all your guests book under your wedding block or through one travel agent to ensure you all the reservations count towards your "room nights" the more room nights you have the more free stuff you can get.

Hope this helps!

Good luck

Kristie

Hi Ladies,

If anyone has the various menu options for the buffet can you please PM them to me?

Also, anyone know if the water at the hotel is okay? Like for teeth brushing and the ice in drinks. Random question I know but just want to ensure we don't get sick!

Thanks,

Stacie

I have them if you want to PM me your email address, Stacie I will forward them to you.

I am so mad/disappointed!! I got an email from Marisol yesterday saying that there is an event on my wedding say on the Sky Terrace (where the pool is) at 6 PM and that is right below the Sky Wedding Deck, so she suggested having my wedding on the Beach. I confirmed that location for my ceremony at 6PM TEN MONTHS ago... I insisted on booking it before I would send my deposit. AND I confirmed it again with her Marisol when she called me on January 26th. I replied to her email by forwarding my email from last April that verified I had booked it and told her we re-confirmed it on the phone last month and asked if there was anything that could be done. Anyone have a suggestion or similar experience here??? After we spoke on the phone on January 26th and verified the time and location she immediately sent me an email verifying the details and it had my location as the beach, so when I responded and corrected that and requested the terrace for my reception her response was "I suggest you have your ceremony on the beach and reception in the ballroom" I really really want to have my ceremony on the sky deck, because of the privacy that is why we chose Beach Palace really... and I don't really want to have my reception in a ballroom, we are in Mexico - I want to be outside! I replied to her last night and can't wait to get a response. I'm really bummed. Hopefully they will get this fixed!

I would be furious as well!!! My wedding is August 10th at 6 PM and we've booked the sky deck for ceremony and pool area for the reception as well. Guess I had better ensure they're confirmed too...

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
