I am in the same predicament! how many bridesmaids do you have?

Iâ€ve been going back and forth about what I want to get them for a while now! I was thinking something personal to each of them, but canâ€t seem to find anything just right.  Where did you get your necklaces and earrings?

Hi Krysta,

I am in the same boat! I got an amazing deal on their jewelry. I am planning to order them these clutches in a champagne or ivory color(below) from Etsy.I am getting myself one with a turquoise flower and theirs with red flowers as their dresses are red. You get to choose the fabric, inside and out. The flower is detachable so they can use the purse and flower again. If you get more then one the price goes down.

If you want different clutches, their are a lot of nice ones on Etsy.

Hope this helps.

Hi Krysta,

I will try and post my message again...it didn't appear. I am in the same boat as you...I got a great deal on their jewelry.

I found these really pretty clutches on Etsy. I am ordering one for myself with the teal flower and in champagne fabric on the outside. Then I am getting two with ivory fabric and dark red flowers. The flowers are detachable so the girls can use their clutches again.

You get to choose the fabric inside the purses too. Depending on the styles, they range from 58$ to 65$ each but you get a discount if you order more then 1. If you don't like these, there are a lot of other nice clutches on Etsy.

I hope this helps!

I got each of my girls a pandora bracelet. I bought them online and got an amazing deal. I also got them something personal to each of them. for example one of my BMs LOVES puma purses and her fav color is purple so i killed myself looking but finally found a purple puma purse! she was in heaven!!! i think the personal touch is always appreciated because its really thanking them individually IMO and the gifts were a huge hit with my wedding party :)

Oooh, this was the first thing I started on and I am going to keep on until the big day... which is still about a year and 1/2 away!

I have a bm and moh. My mom and FIs mom are also getting similar gifts.

At Walmart at the end of the summer I picked up large beach-style purses. They were 75% off. I made them barefoot jewelry, and have also been filling each with soaps and journals and lipgloss and compact mirrors and little picture frames.... all that kind of thing. I love the dollar bins at Michaels. Everything is beach themed, and I always try to get two slightly different things. I am making them each a tank top (with their 'title' ironed on), and I just received notice that personalized bracelets I ordered from etsy are on their way! Yay!

I am still going to get them little cotton clutches from etsy I have my eye on. They are really inexpensive, and very small, but cute. I am thinking for holding room key and tip money. We are also going to buy their dresses, and I think I am going to get each one a pink flask (one pink leather, one sparkly). I still want to get them each a necklace, but not until we figure out what dresses they will be wearing (I am torn between starfish and pearls... though I now have found ones that are pearled starfish!) They will also be getting bubbas like the rest of our guests, but theirs will be engraved. I am probably going to keep adding items to the bags, but probably not too many more. Probably personalized flip- flops too.

The biggest thing is that I am doing involves my stagette. I know the basic plan.... we are all going on a 6-hr road trip to this famous spa none of us have been to before for a weekend. It is all flapper-themed. Anyway, there is a spa package for a large group of girls to get pedicures and massages. I will be booking and paying for that as a surprise to them.

Maybe try to do something to spend some time with them? I only have two standing up with me (FI only has one) so we are keeping our wedding party very small. Therefore, we want to spoil them a little! My BM is a very good friend of mine and FI's, and my moh is my little sister who will be graduating from high school a month before we get married. They are awesome, and we want to go all out for them.

Hope that helps!

Ladies! I have a question. I will be having official ceremony in Jamaica. Does anyone know if we will have to register our marriage here in Canada? Like send papers to show or to prove that are married. I called service ontario and she said that we dont have to do any of that. Which does not seem quite right. Anyone know anything about it?

Kat,

You don't have to "register" you marriage, but if you are changing your name or for benfit/pension or legal stuff you will have to presnt your "Certificate of Marriage" that the gov't of Jamaica gives you. This simple piece of paper is what proves you two are married and is your legal document, so don't lose it! I will be making at least 1 copy and getting it notorized so that I will have 2 copies and don't have to worry about contacting Jamaica in case of emergency.

Does that make sense?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
