Hi Ladies,

Need your help or ideas on how to pack my bouquet. I have 2 real touch bouquets (mid size to small) and I need to figure out the best way to pack them. I am thinking I should probably pack it in my carry on just in case the suitcase gets lost but I am already packing all the other necessary items I will need. If I pack it in my suitcase...where should I put it and how should I pack it so as to not get it squished???

HI Also have real touch boquets I am bring with me. Definetly in the carry on- you dont want to risk your luggage being lost.  I purhcased a hard case carry on suitcase, I will wrap them in bubble wrap and hope for the best. My flowers were shipped to me in Calgary from Toronto and they shipped just fine!

I was a bridesmaid in a DW last year and the bride had all the BM's carry our own real touch flowers on the flight. We just held them, which was annoying but convenient for customs who wanted to see them anyway!

I just put mine (all calla lilies) in the bottom on my garment bag- I used some bristol board to make a cylinder to hold the shape of the bag and prevent any major squishing. They faired out just fine - we only had a bit of reshaping to do once we got there but we figured that. I also put our fedora hats in the bag to prevent any squishes! No one questioned it at the airport so it was easy breezy!

Hello all you awesome Canadian Brides!

There is a company based in BC called Destination or not (www.destinationornot.com) and they make real touch flowers. We usually partner up with them for our wedding shows, and everyone who walks by is always SHOCKED that the flowers displayed are not real, its insane how real the look and feel!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
