So i'm think of just going with any song thats related to "sweet" , "Candy"  or food.  And look at artist like Katy Perry, Rhianna and Beyonce. I"m sure between the 3 of them they have to have a song related to that.

Put Some Sugar on Me , it is a perfect choicecheesy.gif

There are probably some inappropriate cake cutting songs out there, but I'd be hard pressed to think of one. I think any song you like will be fine. Let's be honest, most of the guests won't notice or remember the song being played while the cake was cut. So if the song makes you and your FI happy, then it's a great one!

I just think it's a fun and cute song.

I actually have a mashup of "When I'm 64" and "Sugar Pie Honeybunch" that I'm now considering using. LOL.

Haha I'm scared of this too! We were at a wedding a couple of weeks ago and the groom smooshed cake all over the bride's (who is also my really close friend) face... I thought she was going to smack him. My my FI started laughing and thought it was a great idea for about two seconds till he saw my face... LOL

Just remind him how much it cost to get your makeup done! It'll probably zap that idea right out of his boy brain!

Uh-oh! Another one to add to my list!

We are thinking either "sugar sugar", "how sweet it is to be loved by you", "pour some sugar on me" or "I wanna grow old with you" from the wedding singer. We might go with that for signing papers during the ceremony though. Now I love ABBA, so my mind might be changing...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
