From what I've seen form previous brides is that they do NOT take the money off. Either you use the photographer or you don't. So most girls will have the restor photographer take pics of the guests arriving at the ceremonty and cocktail reception while their hired photographer takes the usual wedding pics. Best of luck!

Ladies, I could use some help. Did anyone do programs? If so how did you do them? Because, we have no idea when things are going to happen or who our officiant is, or how long it will take! All suggestions are welcome!

If I do program it's going to be short, simple, and to the point. I'm pretty sure the group will be small enough that they'll know and understand what's going on. So I think for example we are going to do a Ring Warming before the ceremony. So I'll explain the significance of that and then the basic outline of what's happening and then let them know after the ceremony where to find cocktail hour. But nothing too detailed...we're just not that sort of couple. Congrats and many blessing to you!

Holy God Almighty!!!! I just got direct confirmation from Ramon about how much per person it is to add additional guests to the Eternity package. Drum Roll Please.....it is $94 usd to add person. So we're looking at around 5 additional people so that's basically $500 extra!!! I'm ready to just say F' it to the whole package and just go to the buffet. That is so insane to me. For got sakes we are already paying for ALL INCLUSIVE!! What are you guys doing and how are you dealing with extra costs and what not??

Hi all!!    I am new to this website and am getting married at the NOW Sapphire on January 5, 2013 - right around the corner! I wish I had known about this site earlier. I have hired Photos in Cancun for the photography and DJ Mannia. I am still trying to figure out who to hire as a florist and a make up artist/hair stylist. I've emailed with Fernando Fuentos for hair & makeup, and Vanessa Jaimes for flowers. Any reviews on either of those people? I also just emailed Lucy with flowers by lucy.  What I'm really interested is hearing from anyone that has had their hair & make up done by the stylists at the resort. I'm sure they're great, but I just haven't heard anything. Can anyone give me their honest opinion? My fiance and I visited this resort in June so I have some pictures of the resort if anyone is interested, just give me your email. Thanks :) Ashley

Got my hair and makeup done. And boy was I nervous I'm a hairdresser so I am picky and nervous when people do my hair . My hair was beautiful exactly what I wanted . My mother in law did hair and makeup. Hair was stunning but makeup was Wayyy to dark so of course we had them lighten it. Her fault though she did say smokey eye . Lol My makeup was great especially when I was peeling and red and once they fixed me up you had no idea . The spa was so relaxing and modern Send me message if you want pictures

Ohhh wow that's a lot extra to have to pay. We have the Divine package, and we will have about 25 extra people so I can only imagine what thats going to cost if we do the sit down dinner. Since the meal is included up to 25 people already in the package, if you decide to do the buffet how do they adjust the cost? I am forwarding all my questions to my travel agent (she seems to have very quick responses from Ramon:) So I will keep you posted on what I hear!

Great, thanks for the info! I am looking into DelSol photography, so far they have been very quick to respond and their pictures look great. Hopefully they are within our budget:)

I asked about the buffet option and it is $48, plus service charge, plus tax. That is the price for just the buffet though, if you want the cocktail hour you would have to add on the price of that to get the actual "per person" charge. You also have to have a minimum of 50 people. I'll try to attach the menus that Anel forwarded me.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! We will be there in April:) I have been speaking with DJ mania and am waiting on another response about payment. I am just a tad skeptical about paying up front being as it is in Mexico (and not till April) and not through the resort... Have they told you what their usual requirements are (deposit, paying at time of service?) and also, is there a fee for them to come and set up on the resorts property? I know with outside florists the resort charges but wasn't sure about a DJ. Thanks for any info and congrats again!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
