HI everyone! Just joined as was searching for answers to a million queries i have about planning our wedding at NS!

Does anyone have a copy of the Budget spreadsheet they could email at all? Keep finding out about more and more charges for various things and wanted an up to date cost of everything so i can work out the best way to do things (set up costs/outside vendors/reception extension etc!)

Was so excited when we booked now starting to panic about all the hidden extra costs!!!

sorry me again!! Does anyone also have pics of the lights they paid for on Tequila terrace? Seeing so much about the fees for putting them up, but also $850 + tax for the chinese lanterns i had my heart set on is crazy. What do the Italian lights look like? Also what are the Luminara referred to in the wedding guide at $5 each?  AGGHHH brain meltdown at moment over this organising!!!

Sorry for the delay! I just got back from my wedding and decided to bring our own lights after much debate because it was still spendy but my husband and i were glad we did! It added a nice romantic touch. It isn't necessary but it's really nice! I haven't received photos from photographers yet with night shots but this is before the reception started.

hi, has anyone used dj mannia or deorromix recently? mannia is double the price that deorromixx is and just wondering if he is worth the money or why he is so much ? im getting married at the now sapphire on may 4,2019. Mannia is 900 for dj and 650 for dance floor and then tax so 1798 total and then the resort fee and deorromixx is 900 total he doesnt charge tax and that includes dj and dance floor, im a little skeptical since half the price but i also dont want to over pay for same services, and then im also curious about outside vendors for flowers and photos that anyone has used recently thanks :)

Hi!! I live in the area and I'm very involved in weddings, I haven't heard about neither DJ's, but there are A LOT of options in Riviera Maya... what I can recommend is that you check that their facebook page, instagram are up to date as well as their reviews in weddingwire, bodas.com.mx, (mexican wedding webpage similar than weddingwire). If deorromixx is an external vendor from the hotel, then is normal that their prices are half than the hotel in house DJ but it doesn't mean is a low quality, just do a little research on social media :)

For floral design vendor I can recommend Cherry Blossom and photo/ video Roc'n'love photography, they are both local with good prices and great quality but before hiring them check the external vendor fee with your wedding planner, hotels charge a from $300 to $1,000 usd just for letting them into the property

If you need any other tip feel free to ask me ;)

Good luck !!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
