I am so panicked! I still have the final touches to put on my OOT bags and a few other small things. The day's just don't seem long enough!

Kellygrrrl, we're wedding date buddies!!!  We're getting married at the Gran Caribe in Cancun, though.  I have to say that I'm feeling slightly panicked and super excited.  I'm going over everything making sure we're all good but then I start second guessing myself and I'm like ahhhhhhh!!!  My FI thinks I'm over thinking things but I can't help it!!!

I find myself feeling a bit anxious these days and when I'm trying to fall asleep I have wedding stuff running through my head! I probably feel this way because I still have quite a bit of planning to do as my resort doesn't ask me for any details until about a month prior to our wedding!!!

Okay, thank you. I think I am just going to bring everything down with me. I'm planning on checking 2 bags, carrying my dress and pocketbook.  Fiance will be checking 2 bags as well, carrying on his bag and my bag. He is not happy about carrying everything with us, but I feel as though we have to.

After reading these threads I dont feel comfortable sending them there. Plus I would be worrying about them until I arrived. If my bags are too heavy FI will have to carry some crap lol! We have 7 people flying with us that morning including my mom, so I can always have herthem carry items for me too if I need it.

I had my bachelorette and bridal shower this past weekend and it has set in that I'm 40 days away. I cant believe it. I feel like I'm so behind in getting things done. We had to find a new caterer for our AHR and figure out a shuttle schedule... All after I finialized the invites, so now a lovely insert is needed. Good thing is my FI is taking the lead on that and we are having a crafting/ stuffing party this weekend.

Absolutely. I've been stressing out a lot lately because the resort basically doesn't starting working out details with us until we get there so I feel like I have no idea what's going on! I'm a perfectionist too and not knowing what is going to happen is driving me crazy.

YES!!! I feel the same way. I have my last fitting on Monday and my 2nd one I was getting blotchy marks on my chest when I tried on my dress!! WTF!! Over thinking??

I am worrying I am forgetting to do something and thinking about the to do list and everything else.

I wonder what the hell am I going to do when the wedding is over?!?! After over a year of planning its all slowly coming to an end :(

Definitely goes by super fast.

But I do know each of our days will be amazing and unforgettable!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
