Good to know.  If you choose the complimentary can you customize everything?  I'd like to see the customization options but I've emailed a few times and no planner has emailed back yet!!!

YOu can choose the complimentary at the chapel with a priest.  I believe there's a $350 charge.

If you don't choose the comp package, and want to make any changes, you pay extra! You can pretty much ask for whatever you want and they will try to make it happen. Assuming you don't have an unlimited budget, you can also bring stuff with you and have them set it up for $55. For example, they charge $4 for a chair sash rental. You can purchase them for about 50 cents each.

It's best to make a list of what you would like and then price out purchasing from home or renting in Cancun.

Does anyone know the normal response time?  I have made three attempts at contacting someone about package pricing and add ons for 2012 and to make an appointment for a site visit.  So far, no one has contacted me.  I really like what I see, but I am about to let it go because customer service should not be this ridiculous.

Lindsey,

Sadly, the Miami office has horrible response time. You will get better answers from this site. You can also try posting questions on the palace resorts facebook site. They don't like negative comments and will try to help you. It sucks that Miami is so neglectful when Cancun does a fabulous job of giving you a dream wedding.

Man that sucks!  That makes them look really bad.  I want to schedule a site visit but they're making me have second thoughts.  Does anyone have packages + add ons they can send me?  My email is [email protected]

I am getting bummed, but I will try the Facebook approach because I do think MP is our best choice...

Lindsey, It is frustrating, but once you experience the onsite treatment you will forget ever complaining. The big things with MP are the group benefits which can result in you having a free unlimited private events and 7 nights refunded, the ride from the airport is less than 10 minutes so you and your guests will have more time to enjoy the resort, you can visit Cancun on the free shuttle and use the facilities of the other Palace Resorts for free, there is plenty of different restaurants so you never get bored of the food, the staff will go out of their way to make you happy, you'll never be bored at MP, but you can always find a quiet spot too, the palace dollars help to make your vacation even more fun, and no one has ever complained about their MP wedding day.

Package and add on information is on their Palace Resorts website. Let me know if there was something else you needed and I can see if I have it! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
