Thanks Ladies!  FI came in and saw the days wedding work that took place at work and said "Where did you order these from" he was speaking of the brochures that I made... I said HELLOOOOO where have you been, I made these and printed them at work.. he said "damn you are really picking up on this Do it yourself stuff".. I said DIY he said "what"  I was smile120.gif  anyway, I showed him the "sample" Mexican themed postcards that I will print off tomorrow and he approved.  I did 6 different templates which all have the same wording just different pictures.  Since some folks like our hello kitty family have 3 different addresses I just didn't want them to all get the same one.  I will take a picture as always, once I am done printing them at work and then when I cut them out at home.

BTW I don't get my dress until the 9th.  They actually only do try-on's of your dress when they have 4 people in the shop.  2 of those persons are dedicated to help you and the other 2 take care of other folks.  The only sad part is that my grandma and mom, along with everyone else will be at work so I may take one of my staff just to take pictures as the appointment is at 10am and my job is literally 15 minutes away from the Bridal Salon.

Well I'm signing off for now as we are going to see Happy Feet.  Nite ladies

Coconoir - LOVING your boarding pass xmas presents!!  I didn't realize your recipients were older than 10 as well - LOL!  They turned out awesome. :)

Today, I finished our Thanks for Booking & Info boarding pass design + Luggage Tags.  woot.gifWe weren't going to do this because of cost, but now that not as many are coming, I'm going to!!!  (Yes, Jamie --- the perks of not so many people booking, haha!)  Hoping to print them tomorrow and post soon.  Waiting for my Oriental Trading Co order to arrive for the Compass brads I will use. :)

Coco & Jamie ----- did you use templates for the boarding pass holders??  I can't seem to find the best way to design those... any info would be great!  Feel free to email... ;)

Goodnight, beautiful ladies!  Hoping you're checking things off your lists this week!

Morning Ladies,

As promised, here are the pictures from my early morning printing!  Unfortunately, I will have to print tomorrow as my printer friend decided that he wanted to do some smudging.  And since I went against my golden rule of brining the entire pack of paper, I didn't have any extra.  So tomorrow I will have to print 15 more (I always make extra for cutting errors, to save for myself & to keep as samples just in case ;-). Anyway, the back of the postcards are the same for all as pictured below, the front have 5 different variations (I had 6 but didn't care for the picture once printed.)  I wanted to do something vibrant to get everyone excited!  This postcard will be sent out the first of the year to remind persons of the final payment due on Feb 3rd and about their passports.  These print 2 to a page so I printed 5 sheets of each with the exception of my absolute FAVE which I will print 10 sheets of... I'm biased as it has our colors LOL

Back of postcards (these print with 2 on each page)

Front of Postcards this 1 is my favorite as I found something with our exact colors... Love the internet.. I added the words of course ;-)

Coco & Jamie ---- thank you for the templates!  Excited to play with them tomorrow and figure out what I want to do.  Coco, love your postcards!!!  Tasteful reminder for your guests to get their butts in gear, LOL.  So pretty too!

Update:  My MOH & I had a lengthy, emotional conversation tonight.  Lots of tears, listening, and talking.  After we finally started really listening to each other and really trying to see things from the other's perspective, she decided that she'd make it work and would definitely come.  YAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!  I was so proud of us as it was a very challenging conversation, and we kept striving for a win/win solution even though it was hard.  I would have been happy with any Win/Win solution, but you know I'm super pumped that this turned out to be it --- her coming to Cancun!!  Couldn't be happier.  Our 19 years of friendship is still going strong. :)  woot.gifwoot.gifwoot.gif  3 cheers!!!

This weekend, we have NO plans as of yet, which I'm pumped about.  Lots of DIYing!!  (And possibly wine! haha)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
