I work next door to a Nordstroms, so I will have to go see if they have these!

I think the metallic gold would be really nice. I also think nude shoes (skin tone) would look awesome. Let me see what I can find so you see what I am talking about.

I don't care for these shoes, not my style, but this is the colour I mean.

I have that dress. I love it! I wore it to a wedding in Miami that I attended with my fiance, his roommate, and his roommate's girlfriend. His roomate's girlfriend showed up in the exact same dress, haha.

The color is difficult to match. Gold kind of clashes b/c it's not a true gold (it's a champagne gold) and silver clashes b/c the dress does have a hint of gold in it. I went with simple black heels and a black clutch, but I don't know if that's the sort of look you are going for at the beach. These shoes are by BCBG so they are probably a close color match BCBG Max Azria Ilinka (Champagne Satin) - BCBG Max Azria Women's Footwear.

These are super cute, and pretty close color wise Charles by Charles David Rose (Champagne Satin) - Sandals.

Both shoes come in black, too.

If you are going with the champagne shoes, I would maybe do a fun color clutch, like one of these; there are lots of colors to choose from:Brontibay Paris Liseron Clutch - shopbop.com.

If you go with black shoes, I would do a simple black clutch.

Hope that helps :).

That's a beautiful dress...my mom had a similar color dress for my wedding which was a champagne color and she wore bronze stuart weitzman shoes with it and it looked gorgeous...I wouldn't go with a gold color just because the contrast isn't 2 nice against the dress

but the best thing to do is just buy a pair that you like take them home and try them on with the dress...my mom bought 2 pairs and exchanged them before she found a pair that looked good with the dress

I tried to find the shoes online that she had but they didn't have them anymore...sorry

I just tried that dress on for a wedding last week and almost bought it. It's so pretty and a wonderful fit - it will look beautiful with your hair color!

I was planning on either:

a) black, thin strappy sandle and this very cool black necklace that I have that sort of reminds me of 20's jewelry; or

B) a barely noticeable nude sandal and some delicate jewelry

I hadn't thought of chocolate brown - that's a good idea, too.

I guess it depends on the overall look you want to create, but there are a lot of options.

This is why I love zappos.com, shoes.com, endless.com, etc. You can try on all the shoes with the dress. I like to leave them on a while around the house & see how comfortable they really are. It's free shipping & returns. Watch out though, it's addictive. Oh, & you can sort by color & heel height. It's so easy.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
