Renee...I love Love LOVE the cake you posted. Too hilarious!

I remember I made one of those for my friend's birthday, only I stuffed the inside with white frosting filling for the ultimate touch haha

Anyway, I see you ladies are making an AMAZING start this season! Great job and best wishes =] I will be back soon with a new recipe to post. Hmm....maybe a healthy cake alternate recipe to help recreate Renee's stunning masterpiece for all those bachelorette parties currently in the works...hehe ;-)

For anyone who's into iPhone apps, there's a new NikeWomen Training app for FREE! I found it under the featured apps. It's got workouts that you can do at home with a few weights. A lot of the exercises are the same ones that I used to do with my trainer and they are really good for a full body blast! There are also videos of each exercise also to see how to properly execute. One warning though- it takes a long time to download from the app store, but it seems really great so far! A good back up for when you can't hit the gym!

        Hey girls,

I did our crazy cardio bootcamp class at the gym again this week, and this time my friend had her heart rate monitor on.  We burned more than 1000 calories in the one hour class!!

Isn't that nuts!!  It is an absolutely insane hard class though.  It's probably equivalent to running 5 miles.  Ugh, how I dread Wednesdays but I feel good when it's done.  :)

Good Job :)  I so don't have the discipline or stamina or anything else to do anything like that...

And this week is just sort of blah and I have zero energy to do any form of physical activity.  I'mn eating pretty well though, and once this week passes...I should get out of this little funk and start moving...I'll need to start small trhough :)

Ahh, see, I frequent the gym but my eating habits bite the big one.  I really need to learn to like healthy food, not chocolate!!

I wish I had your gym dedication...for me that is definitely the hard part.

Just a reminder that I need weigh-ins for tomrrow morning (or Staurday by noon).

                Thanx :)

Marla, do you recommend the weigh-in at a certain time of day.  I'm assuming since it was evening when I took the first one, I should stick with that time frame for realistic numbers.  I know I weigh less in the am, but that all goes away when I eat!! :o

For me, I'm happiest with  AM as my official weigh-in time...I like knowing what I am 1st thing...anything after I eat freaks me out :)

even if I know it's not reallty weight gain (like drinking a glass of water and weighing yourself rt after)...rationally..i know i didn't really gain...but I'm so fixated on those stupid #s...so the lower they are...the better it is (for me)

Lol, I agree.  I love that morning weight.  I think if I stayed there all day, I'd be happy with my size.  As long as you are taking your weight at the same time of day each time, it doesn't matter if it's morning or not.  I wish I had taken mine in the AM but I will just stick to evening so I know it's more accurate for me.  :)
