the one at state and monroe. they were great in rectifying the situation. they wouldnt tell me what happened though. I really think it was stolen. the store manager was very very nice. It was another employee that was very rude.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your old ring.. but Im glad it all worked out for you and that you are happy with your new ring! Its beautiful! I agree with ya on they should have thrown in a couple Rolex's wink wink.. ha ha! I would have been pissed if they lost my ring.. I had to take my ring in the other day for my semi annual inspection required to keep my warranty active and I was afraid to take my eyes off of it for a minute. After reading about Carlys lost ring I really want to get it insured. Does anyone have any recommendations for wedding ring insurance?

Well it's a long story so to give the quick and dirty details, I had taken it off b/c my fingers were swelling from the heat and then a bunch of random things happened (lost other bag, husband got mad, ring zipped inside the cooler, then husband took sandwich out of cooler w/o paying attention and ring was gone). It was a comedy of errors that day and I almost feel like it was meant to be lost or something b/c so many bad things happened. I miss my old ring, but my new ring is better quality, bigger carat, better color, etc. So at least I got an upgrade out of the deal. I've been staring at my ring like a newly engaged person again.

Ooo man what a story! That is terrible! But glad you got a new ring!! Did you ever check lost and found in disney??

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can insure the ring on it's own. I think you need to have either homeowner's or renter's insurance and then you can add it to that policy - and you'll need to have an appraisal done as well. All I had to do was call my insurance agent (I have Allstate for both my car and home) and faxed her a copy of the appraisal an she was able to add it to my current policy with no problem.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
