Michelle - i think its a lovely feeling once you have the photographer booked.  We were lucky with our hotel where you just have to pay $40 for a pass.  We are not having a video done; we have a camera here which we will use during the day etc and have a DIY video done as we cannot stretch to a video and thought it would be quite quirky to do ourselves as some of our friends did and it turned out great.  I'm sure once you are back home you will realise it was all worth it.

We had our 'pre 3 month meeting' with the wedding corodinator yesterday at our AHR venue - it seems scary that this time last year we just visited the venue and put down a deposit now we were talking about how many tables, will we be having a cake, what time would you like it to start etc etc.  Things we hadnt even thought about - lol!!! Apart from our stag and hen parties I dont think we will be going out much between now and Christmas - all the costs are racking up despite having saved throughout the year.  I dont know how people afford to get married over here!!!

Michelle, i never made it to the farmacy, cos i drove up to my friends house up the coast, i was telling her about this pill, and suprise surprise she'd got a 3 month supply in her draw, it's spelt cerazet here, but i'm guessing it's the same thing. I looked at the list of possible side effects, and apart from the huge hideous things, there was headaches, acne, weight gain, mood swings etc..... well i thought it can't get any worse than it already is!!!!!

So i'm going to give them a go, 3 months for free.... bonus!

fingers crossed.

Hi Girls,

How you been?  I havent been on for ages as the wedding plans went a bit out the window for a while.  Feels like I have no idea what to do until next year when I can really start going!  We've had the full confirmation through and so far we currently have 19 adults and 3 kids coming with us.  I think there are about 7 more adults DEFINITELY coming but in the process of booking up.  I'm having a dilema at the moment as I cant decide whether to have our ceremony on the beach or in the gazebo thingy?  Ideally we always wanted it on the beach but I cant get the ceremony any later then 3pm - and in August that is HOT HOT HOT!

Are you all getting married on the actual beach?

So pleased to be getting back in the swing of things!

Take care and good luck on all the weigh in's this week girls!  I'm hoping for a little loss myself!

Nice to have you back Mel, so glad your plans are going ok and ppl are booking up!

We are getting married at the gazebo which is right next to the beach at our hotel at 3pm. I cant flipping wait!

I have my weigh in tonight i'm not looking forward to it though as didnt go last week cos i've had the cold from hell. Scarlett's been so rough to bless her, has a terrible cough! And not done much exercise as just feel like my head will drop off even when i walk. 5pm will tell me how bad i've been. I think i may have gained! Boooooo! Hope you've lost Mel x

Hi Mel, we are also getting married in August, we are having a 3pm wedding on the beach, I know it's going to be hot but why go all that way and not get married on the beach! You can always get parasols for our guests??? Plus remember its only for 30-45mins. Where are you getting married?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
