well girls after a lovely day with FI yesterday we had ANOTHER row over MIL from HELL....not good :o( very tired and teary today. But on a plus side (if there is one) i think, think i am getting through to him. I think he's realising how upset i am over it all and how i need him to back my corner. We have got to keep MIL at arms length otherwise she WILL come between us. So it's just down to him now. He's got to stop that happening. sad face.....x

 

 

Michelle so sorry to hear that you and FI are arguing about MIL, I agree you need to keep her at arms length and try not to let her upset you, because that is what she wants.  This is a speacial time for you and FI and you should be enjoying (other than the normal stresses) every minute of it.  Do not let her come between you both.  Speaking of MIL mine is due over again in a couple of weeks to attend a family wedding so i'm sure that i'll have plenty of things to tell you during the 2 weeks she's here...i am not looking forward to it, but i'm determined to not let her upset me whilst she is here. xx

Girls i live midway between Maidstone ans Ashford lol.The international hotel is fine no worries there.I wouldnt say its posh but its not cheap either its fairly new etc.

Maidstone is where i do my shopping if i havnt got the time to head off to Lakeside or Bluewater.

My boys head into town maidstone every weekend and if your looking for a quiet evening, umm its not gunna happen However its no worse than any other town at the weekend in my opinion.

Would i head into Maidstone for my hen do? probably not, id be more interested in a spa day and lunch and a few cocktails with a few chums.Feather boas, pink plastic willies and the rest of the tutt you can buy are not me.

That said i would feel safe in Maidstone and if my boys were having a do then id be there if i was allowed that is.

Ive been awol to busy at work but i must say

Jananpana im loving the purple bridesmaids dress hope you had a fun time shopping.Im off tomorrow and im going to John Lewis at Lakeside to buy a tiara i saw at the weekend in the sale thats if its still there though.

Up date on the friends who had the hump.They deffo had an issue but when i confronted them they claimed they didnt i told um a few home truths and i could hear Paula in the background saying well tell her about ....... i couldnt hear what she was saying and he wouldnt say so its blown over there a funny bloody pair.They fly out two days before us and he thought i should of got them t-shirts to wear the same as we are all wearing.So i told him you aint coming with us you havnt got one!!!!!!!!!!!! stop being a big kid lol

Im sure Paula will say somink but boy am i ready for her they are very childish a bit thick as well so they say things without thinking it through so shell be on the end of my bridezilla tongue if she dosent watch it lol

This week i feel much calmer so i hope it continues no tummy flutters or feeling of inpending doom although having just said that my mum who was very sick last nov (heart) rung last night and she has a urine infection she has antibiotics so i hope shes gunna be ok.I worry cos when she was ill in Dublin(useless) hospital they kept saying there was somink wrong with her wee samples but did nothing about it.That being said she had surgery to close two holes in her heart and following that she needed a pacemaker they kept her in hospital cos she was so sick and waited till she had a normally fatal heart attack before rushing her to theatre.The rythum that her hearrt went into was so bad it was only cos the team of surgeons were outside her room that they got her back.The fact she should of been operated on at that time makes you wonder if they were coming in to cancel her for the third time.

Anyway i went off on one there i hope its just a blip but i do wonder if they should be investigating her more thoroughly.I cant remember wheen she last had a smear or any thing gynae related.

Im sure my mum will just take the meds then pray it dosent come back any time soon.

I suppose it could well be that she takes so many tablets it could be playing havoc with her bits and pieces.

You are so right Charmaine. I will NOT let her beat me!!!! Try as she might she's not important enough for her to be an issue in my life any longer.... I just need the FI to deal with it and then we'll be OK..  I really hope it goes ok when your MIL is over and you dont have a hard time. We could all be doing without the stress. I will wait to hear what she's been up to haha.....

 

Roo - so sorry to hear about your mum, big hugs and finger's x'd she's ok. As for your friend. V.childish. You handled it well though well done :o)... as for the club in Ashford my BM said today. Dont worry we wont care once we're there we'll just want a dance! lol... mum and sis have been to the hotel before and said it was nice. Thanx for confirming that :o)

 

YYYYYAAAAAHHHHHH Louise your home it feels like you've been gone a month!!!! How was it? Pix, Review....? Can't wait to hear all about it x

Ive known for months my wedding perfume perfume was going to be "Harajuku Lovers : G" by Gwen Stefani. I have never had the perfume but have smelled it a few times when i have been going around trying to find my wedding perfume. So anyway a few weeks ago i was in Boots looking at perfumes and nearly bought it.

The 10ml is £15 and the 30ml £20 so i thought obviously i will get the 30ml.

For some reason or another i didnt buy it then, so I went to Boots today to weigh myself (stayed the same!! quite pleased as i feel like ive put on) and i walked past the perfume and YIPEE!!! so so glad i waited as the 10ml is still £15 BUT the 30ml is on offer at £10. So what a bargain... :-)

Well pleased with myself for holding out!!!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
