That's adorable! My FI and I met in high school. There is something really comforting about settling down with someone who's know me since I was 14 (31 now). Our relationship was truly build on the solid foundation of friendship and I love that.

FI and I went to high school together. I didn't really know him back then or remember him much!  :  )   He had a crush on me my junior/senior yrs. I on the other hand was in a relationship and went on to marry that person and have 2 kids . After 22 yrs we divorced.  FI was divorced with 2 kids as well. We became friends on Facebook of course and it went from there.  I couldn't have found a more perfect man. All I can say is I love being in love with him!  What a fabulous feeling!!!!!

Ohhhh!!!  I love sharing the story of how we met because although "how you met" sometimes can be so cheesy, I truly love our story.

We met 6 years ago.  I went to a local Gap store near my job during my lunch break on a quest to buy an accessory of some sort - a pin or brooch or something to cover up a small rip on a blazer I was wearing that day because I'd made a rip in it as I was dashing to my car that morning and it'd caught on a fence.  An employee (now my FI) kept asking me if he could help, he kept following me around the store and I was in such a rush and on a mission I didn't want to be bothered.  I finally turned to tell him to leave me alone and I noticed how handsome he was and I realized he was kinda hitting on me.  We made some small talk and eventually started to flirt.  When he rang up by purchase a few minutes later he apparently made a mental note of the employee badge I was working.  He thanked me for my purchase and told her he'd be sending me something soon...I figured he'd be emailing me a discount coupon or something.  I thanked him and left to go back to the office.

About an hour later back at the office, my phone rang, and it was the front desk telling me there was a flower delivery.  It wasn't my birthday, there was no special occasion, I was confused.  I went to the front desk to see what this could possibly be about (maybe they called the wrong person?) and was handed a bouquet of yellow roses with a card attached that read, "Under the circumstances today I didn't get a chance to really talk with you, but I'd like to take you out to dinner and  talk more" (with name and phone #).    What a way to win a girl over...roses delivered within an hour of meeting!    I called to thank him, and we scheduled our first date for a few days later.

We met on Eharmony too! I tell people he stalked me for a month. I was talking to other guys and every week he would look at my profile. When the guy I was talking to didn't work out I figured lets see what this guy is all about ... the rest is history! :)

We met on a dating website as well! Although we almost didn't end up meeting since I cancelled our first date after finding out some bad health news. But after my sister insisted I reschedule, we went to dinner and hasn't left my side since!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
