Lisa, good luck with the whitening and congratulations on the weight loss. You're doing amazing!

For our programs, I made up a fan template in Publisher. I'm going to buy a stamp for the cover page, probably something tropical. I didn't print anything, because I am using 12 x 12 paper and it doesn't fit in my printer. The first page is our names and ceremony date/location, the second page is bridal party, third is parents and the last page is an invitation to our cocktail hour. Hopefully, I will get at least one done tomorrow and can post a pic on here. I didn't put the order of the ceremony because I wasn't completely sure, and now we have been told we can't include sand ceremony or any readings so it's a good thing I left that out.

What are you looking to include for your wedding day itinerary?

Tris, you look gorgeous in your dress!!

I had my first dress fitting this week. I'll have to post some pictures when my mom is able to upload them.

So, last night, my friend brought over a dress she had purchased, but did not wear for her wedding. She bought it for $200 at Filene's running of the brides, but retail is around $1200. She said I can HAVE it! I was going to wear it in my TTD session, but not sure I want to lug TWO dresses to Mexico. The other problem is that I think I might like that dress better than the one my bought for me. I think my mom would be hurt if I didn't wear "my" dress for the ceremony. So, I think I have to rule out any other option. Right? I'll have to post both dresses to get your thoughts (when I get both uploaded to the computer).

I feel like I've gotten a lot accomplished recently, programs and menus are underway. Not sure if I am missing anything! Only 43 days left!

Bridal shower day for me today! Yay! I can barely stand the wait for 1pm! Trying to keep myself busy so time goes by fast.

Eeeee I'm getting nervous!! I have my hair extensions being put in on Tuesday!!! From there only one week till my bd shoot!!! I just kicked my own butt at the gym, and will need to keep going every day until that shoot!! Heading to Michaels today for a big shop, anyone know how I get those 40% off coupons? We also need to hit the sex store for lube packets for the Oot bags, hunt down some aloe, look around for some pool floaties, order our last vista print order and order labels for our bubba kegs, first aid kits, seat card flags, and hang over kits. Oy!!!!

Oh and for the ceremony programs I am making them on vistaprint postcards and using sticky dots to attach them to the centre of raffia fans. Instead of traditional programs I am putting the schedule for the day with the locations for each event, that way fi's dumb ass friends won't get lost and be late!!! Oh and my mom was at my resort this week to meet with our WC and she bought us a cocktail hour on the beach!!! Yay!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
