ooh, I dont know yet! people are arriving on different days so I'm tempted to have the front desk give them away as people check in. however, I think it's a nicer surprise for people to arrive at their rooms and see a gift waiting for them.

We asked everyone to attend the orientation session put on by our travel group and after the rep finished his spiel, we handed out our OOT bags. One guest didn't arrive until the next day, and we just held it for her. If you're having guests arriving on different days, you could arrange to meet them in the lobby when they arrive, or if you're having a welcome dinner (or other event), that would be a good place to hand them out too.

I know Dreams charges $4 to deliver the bags to the rooms. I believe its per room. That has been my debate, I would love to have them in their rooms when they check in. I have people arriving Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, My wedding is Saturday, I don't want to spend all my time in the lobby waiting for guests. My welcome dinner is Friday night so giving it then, I feel would be too late.

hi ladies, I have been debating about this as well. So far I have decided that since i have guests arriving on different days, the ones that will arrive when we arrive will receives theirs early, maybe at a welcome lunch (since we are having personalized bubba kegs I want them to get the most use out of them!) and then the others who arrive later will receive theirs directly from us or in their rooms.. probably their rooms. :) I'm just worried about leaving them in their rooms because our resort does upgrades right at check in.. and I don't want to find out that someone got an upgrade and never received their bag because of it. (Maybe I'm just thinking too much!) lol

Since we arrived before our guests on the first flight we went to the lobby and greeted everyone who arrived and handed them their bag then. For the people on our flight, we handed them out to them at the pool once we were all settled in. They loved having us meet them adn were super surprised by the bags.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
