tough thing about traiadvisor - or any other rating site - often, people only go there to bitch. so take it all w/a grain of salt! hopefully the girls here will be able to provide you with a little insight.

Welcome! I'm sure your wedding at the Grand Oasis will be wonderful. vacations are what you make of them... and a destination wedding is no different!

Si! Karen and I stayed at the Grand Oasis, but it was the Grand Oasis Playa which is just down the street from the Grand Oasis Cancun.

 

I have been in the Grand Oasis Cancun before and it looked like a very nice place. Karen had our issues at the Playa this time around, but overall we were still pretty happy with it. The big thing that bugged us is their new affiliation with some sort of time share resorts. The "concierge" was good for nothing more than pushing time share presentations.

 

The beach at the Grand Oasis Cancun is great, the restaurants get good reviews, and the rooms get decent reviews also. It is definitely the nicest Oasis property in the Cancun area.

Hi! I am new to this site, but I noticed that when you joined you had the exact same questions that I have about the same hotel. I also noticed that you got married there in December. I would really like to know how your wedding was. How did you figure out what your boquet would look like, location, decoration of site, etc. Do you have any pictures that you could sharehuh.gif My wedding is in August and I know what the hotel looks like, but other than that am clueless! Please help if you can:)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
