I saw a thread from a while ago about door hangers and thought I should post these to anyone who is interested. I found them on a Martha Stewart website a few months ago and can't find the link now, so I'll copy and paste them...

These are DIY door hangers for your guests. You can print them out (two to a page), on heavy card stock and stash a couple in you OOT bags. Don't forget to add a pen! I think these are adorable, and since you are printing them out yourself you can always edit them to please your guests with graphics, fonts and diff. activities. Enjoy :)

    Oh, no!
    We missed each other!

    I AM
    sunbathing at the beach
    lounging by the pool
    chilling in the lounge
    sipping at the bar
    relaxing at the spa
    working out at the gym
    out & about shopping
    hiding on purpose. Shhh!

Is anyone else making these for their guests? I'd love to hear about them!

Saw this in the Martha Stewart Destination Weddings magazine, too. What a wonderful idea!

I recommend picking up a copy of it as it contains an image of this idea and others. :)

Super cute! Wonder if you could coat the front with something so you could change your answers.... maybe if you had them laminated....
        Thanks or sharing!

I had a few of these made and laminated and then decided not to do them because other brides said they had problems with people breaking into the rooms when they knew people weren't in there. I didn't want to put my guests at risk. I loved the idea and had a hard time letting it go, but in the end felt it was the right thing to do.

          What do you ladies think?

That's definately a concern of mine but I'm going to include luggage locks in the 'what to pack' list and encourage all of my guests to keep their bags locked while they aren't in their room. I'm going to bring a few extras with me as well to make sure everyone has them. I've read a few horror stories of guests even having their safes broken into so I think keeping your bags locked up will help.

I also saw a thread that some ladies were making door hangers that didnt necessarily say they weren't in the room, instead they had fun sayings like 'No Mas Tequila!', 'How can I be so thirsty when I drank so much last night?' or 'Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses'

Anyone have any other cute quotes?

I love the idea, but I am also concerned with my guests property and safety. I have also heard of guest having items stolen from their safe.

I got dry erase door with a dry erase marker that sticks on the side so my guests can leave each other notes or funny sayings. It's definitely thing I can see my guests having way too much fun with. Maybe I'll create a list of code words to write on their door hangers to tell where they are but doesn't give away the fact the fact they are out of the room.

Thanks! You can find them online but I got them from a friend hookup, she works for a corporate gift service.
