Hi Lisa,

The rings in the first pic are the bands, a simple curved half-eternity band for me and a 0.5 carat baguette cut fancy light yellow diamond solitaire for my FI.  My FI wants a diamond wedding band, and was hesitating between 2 styles, the shop offers upgrade option within 1 year, so we can go back within 1 year and reset the stone on a different band in case my FI changes his mind.

The second pic is just my wedding band with my engagement ring, the curved band hugs my engagement ring better than a straight eternity band.

Stunning rings Bonnie, they are gorgeous x Its great that you get to have an upgrade for your FI if you want, Brilliant :-) x

Then flew home to Newfoundland to clean out my mother's house (she's been ill and in a nursing home for 3 years). Of course we end up smack in hurricane Igor (gratefully the house had no damage). But the island and many others were not so fortunate, I am hoping they get the damage fixed soon. Now I really have to get on to wedding planning! :)

Tara-great website, and what an amazing price for your group!

Nicole- love the fact that you asked! (I had wanted to, but he made me promise not to...since he wanted the honor)

What did you do for your "stagette" ? Arrrrr, hope that the damage is cleaned up soon too!!! xxx

We started the party at my house, they had quite the outfit set up for me. Custom made tshirts for all...with embarrassing photos of me (of course!)LOL, a feather boa, and a hat with a number of d**** on top, plus I had to carry around a very large inflatable member for the evening. After the games, we had a limo take us downtown for a feast a one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. Then I was whisked off to a club where we had dance lessons, and then a show of singing and dancing transvestites. It was great fun! Mind you I might have been a little hung over the next day...and had a few bruises I couldn't explain LOL.

Ashley, me too..I went thru the same issue with my pear shape diamond (all my friends got the Tiffany Novo Style with an full or half eternity band), and settled for a curved band.  I was hoping for one with bigger stones, but they only got this one at the store, and can be resize within 2 hours.  At $320 USD, 18K white gold with 0.25 carat G VS1 diamonds, I couldn't say NO (a band like this would cost me over $1000USD here).  I guess I can add/stack another curved band with bigger stones for my anniversary.

Thx Murmel! That is the same reason why my FI got his wedding band too, it is rare to find men ring with yellow diamond.

Here are ours. I think I am going to get them bound together after the wedding cause they just don't look right together unless they are lined up.

Very nice rings, my FI's engagement ring is about the same style! I was thinking the same thing, but then it would be pain in the bum bum to resize after the binding.  My engagement ring tend to roll on the side because my fingers are very thin and the stone is a bit heavy, so I use a ring spacer ($4 from Walmart) to secure it, so I would do the same thing with my wedding band (just bind them with a plastic ring spacer).

Girls LOVE your rings!!! They are all lush!!

I have no idea what i am going to get as my e ring is a one carat emerald cut diamond and nothing is really going with it! I dont want a wedding band with a square cut into it so it fits so i'm not sure what i'm going to do!

Murmel - Oh your stagette sounds fun!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
