2nd marriage do a veil?

Recommended Posts

I didn't have a veil for my second wedding, mostly because our ceremony was literally only family (about 10 people). I also thought that my whole ensemble looked better without a veil.

I say try a couple on with your dress and see how you feel. No one's going to think you're inappropriate for wearing it!

You're so beautiful Hol!!! I really like the veil & flower!! I wasn't going to go with a veil at first (since I was having a simple beach wedding!) but I grabbed my friends veil to take with me just in case. I am so glad that I took it...the veil made me feel that much more "bride-y". But like the other girls said, it's totally up to you!

You look pretty with the veil, lovvveee the flower.Did you try a floor length one? Ive bought a long veil from a fellow member.I just thought that Pauls little girl could carry it if needed and she will be so happy to do that.It was mainly with that thought in my head that made me buy it in the first place.

We are lucky because for all of our guests its there first destination wedding it gives me licence to run with my ideas.(well borrow them from all you girls)xx

I think the flower alone would be perfect if you so choose it! You look beautiful!!!! So maybe a fly away netting(or tulle netting with the flower). I found this one rith Rhinestone's don't know if its to your liking but also a sparkly option :)!! I do have to agree with the above poster that a longer chapel or cathedral length veil would look absolutely gorgeous as well if you so chose to go with the veil route...

The one I tried on is a fingertip length veil. I dont think I want a floor length one because of the detailing on the back of my dress.

I did see a couple with netting on etsy yesterday I liked. I think I need to go into the bridal shop and see if they have any to try on with the dress.

We are having it indoors so I dont have to worry about a veil in my face but I love seeing pics with a long veil blowing in the wind!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
