I've had a hard time finding specific pictures of the wedding sites. The only pictures I've seen is through links that others have posted. If you do a search for "Iberostar Rose Hall Beach" you'll have to search through the posts to find them, I really don't remember where I saw them. I was initially going to book with GPJ but ultimately decided on the Iberostar. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I did a bit of searching on the forum last night. It's a very nice resort, I found a lot of photos of couples getting married on the beach, but didn't find any weddings at the gazebo locations. My search will continue. Thanks again!

Congrats! I am actually just deciding as well between here and GBP. Can I ask who you booked through? Directly with the hotel or with an agent? I am in the process of trying to figure out how to go about this and provide my guests with a price quote this early. I would like to have a date secured for Jan 2011 as well. Any advice would be great!

I had originally been looking at GBP but decided to go with Iberostar based on the reviews. I just emailed their wedding planner that's on their website and they contacted me right away.I booked directly with them. The only thing you have to do is fill out some paperwork but they don't even need a deposit so it was great! As far as pricing, I have a travel agent I'm working with (my sister in law works at Flight Centre) but she says to wait till the spring to get the proper pricing, so I'll have to wait and see. I've sent out STD magnets and will send formal invites in the Spring when I have the pricing, but when people ask I just tell them what the price is for this year (I hope it won't go up much more than that!) Hope this helps!

Hello- First, Congrats on picking a location...so many options!! I am looking at Jamaica as well, same time frame- Jan 2011... it is nearly impossible to get flights this far ahead of time. Did you just book the resort separately? and then are you going to book flights based on that date later in the year ? Thanks for any info you can provide!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
