Has anyone or will anyone be getting legally married down there? I know it's an option, but my mom is worried about it and how 'safe' it is and all that.  I would prefer to get married on my actual wedding day, but not sure if it's the smartest choice. Just curious to know of past experiences and how complicated it is or what not!

We decided to avoid the blood tests in another country (just in case one of us gets sick) and are having our legal wedding here in Canada with my fiance's Grandmother who will not be able to travel with us.  She will be only witness, so no one else will complain that we were married here and they didn't get to see it. :)

I was just reading thru the last 15 posts..I was married there in June and unless you have to have it don't spend the extra money on flowers...with the view there and the limited amount of time you spend up at the tables it is really not worth it. I spent the extra $100 to have orchids in my flowers because I wanted them and got one bag of petals for the isle...other then what they include I would say it is really not worth the cost. For my centerpieces I did the limes with floating candels..I think I was a total of $40 for all 8 of them.

Has anyone ever used conch shells for centerpieces or down the sides of the aisle??? I was thinking about doing something like that and was wonder if anyone else has and knows what the cost is or if they got the shells themselves?

I am so happy to hear that Kelly will be there for my wedding.  For anyone worried about her departure I am VERY certain that she will be diligent in training her replacements.

Do any of you ladies have plans for table numbers and escort cards?

OK my questions are starting to flow now that I am back in weddind planning mod again. Sorry for so many ladies...  embarrest.gif I was just thinking about the seating and was wondering how many people had one long table and how many people comfortable sat that way. I really like this idea, but we're at 32 adults and 2-3 kids including us, but I am guessing there might be as many as 40 of us with the last minute bookers. I  was just trying to figure out if that would be too many for one table????? Any suggestions or advice???

Kelley sent me a table map and said 10 per table is comfortable.  With only 40 people you could do 4 tables of ten with you and your man at the sweetheart table in the middle or you could spread it out even more and have 5 tables of 8 etc etc.
