Barcelo Maya BEACH brides? menu

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies (or gents as I would hate to be sexist). There seems to be tonnes of information on the Palace in this forum..but very little on the Beach/Caribe or Colonial/Tropical. Would love to touch base with other brides. We are getting married at the Beach January 21, 2010..the time is coming fast and I feel I have lots left to do. My wedding co-ordinator is Gabrielle and the emails are sllllooooow in coming..

I was wondering if anyone has go the menu for the Mint Breeze? package yet...we have been waiting for eternity it seems. Thanks

I have my heart set on the Barcelo brand, I'm just not sure which one to go with. Does anyone know if you are staying at one, do you have access to the others, like the restaurants and activities? And also I hear that you can't have external photographers there, but if you pay for them to stay a night, therefore making them a guest at the hotel, would that work?

Hello! I have heard that those who are staying at the Barcelo Palace have access to the whole resort- while those who stay in any of the others (maya beach, caribe, etc) can only go to that one. I am working on booking a trip to the Palace for my wedding Jan 2011 :)

Hi,

I have shot a lot of weddings there (And once more next week). What best to give you an idea than have a look at a photo-gallery: Barcelo Maya Weddings

Concerning the differences between the Barcelo maya Resort for your wedding: wherever you will be, the ceremony can take place in anyone one of the wedding spots of the resort. The two I prefer: The Gazebo just in front of the Barcelo Maya Palace or as well in from of the Palace there is a few trees in facing a rock area. See the following photos:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
