Great sunset cruise vendor in Montego Bay

Recommended Posts

In lieu of a rehearsal dinner, we hosted a sunset cruise of Montego Bay from 5-7pm open for all of our guests (nearly 70 people from age 3-74!). We booked the cruise on a 52' catamaran with Freestyle Sailing and it was WONDERFUL! Denise Taylor was our coordinator and she could not have been any nicer and more helpful.

We paid $40 pp (including tax- kids under 12 were free!) which covered RT shuttles from our hotel, the two-hour cruise, open bar and snorkeling lessons! For an extra few dollars per person, Denise supplied a bunch of yummy Jamaican appetizers including jerk chicken, beef patties etc. The staff on board was AWESOME-- we had five certified snorkeling instructors and a bar staff. It really was an experience of a lifetime for all of our guests... I'd highly recommend it to any Jamaican brides!

I dont know if we would have time to do a cruise or not.. Our problem is if we do it as an afternoon activity some might not arrive in time. hmmm something to think about.. never the less we are super excited too! and we will figure it out and itll b fun. =)

Thanks for the reference. We were looking for something to occupy our guests time between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony is at 2pm, but the dinner reception won't start until 6:30pm. This is perfect! BTW...Denise responded very quickly.

Has anyone been on these catamarans? Do you know if there's space for guests to change on them? Can you get food on them too? Does freestyle sailing have a website?

    • Hello Vernicula - Congratulations on your engagement! I agree with everything MarieSam previously posted. One of the most important things when choosing an agent is there experience and their level of  expertise with destinations and resorts.  All of the Wright Travel agents have years of experience working with wedding groups, we have built excellent relationships with many resorts and we have visited, toured and stayed at many resorts in several different  destinations.  Email is one way of communication so you have everything in writing and can access this a anytime, but phone calls can be just as useful. Our goal is to make sure all of your questions are answered from beginning to end and we are happy to set up a phone call whenever you would like. Some couples prefer to only communicate via email and others also want that reassuring voice with a phone call. We can do whatever works best for each coiple.  Please let us know what questioned

    • Hello!! My fiancé and I are planning on a destination wedding and we are wondering if there are any recommendations for a travel agency to use. I’ve emailed some I found online, but find it tough just communicating through email before we decide where to book. After we book, obviously email is convenient! We are in the Niagara Falls On area and would love to sit and meet with someone but don’t know where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank you
    • I’m getting married next May at the Azul Sensatori  in Cancun, I believe they have a hotel specific DJ. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on that versus spending money for an outside vendor and if so any recommendations on a good DJ in that area? Thanks for the help.
