Hi erica.. Long time no talk... you must be overwhelmed when you seen all of our chitter chatter!!!!! We're all plugging along and getting very excited now that the holidays are over.

Shells in regards to Bro's chic... I really don't see her coming to Mexico because she has no money.... She lives at the shelter. I would even quess she doesn't have a passport. I am hoping by the conversation that I had with Bro yesterday that this realtionship or whatever you would call it is done. I don't think i could be around her again without saying something nasty...

I have done both those trips and i enjoyed the xel-ha th best... I swan with the dolphins there. it was amazing

Hi Erica! Welcome back...it good to hear all is well and you are having a good - if incredibly busy - visit with family:) I don't know if you like her or not, but if the new photographer you are looking at is not available, you might want to check with Claudia Rodriguez. She has done weddings for a couple of people I know and they photos turned out wonderfully! She has been really good to deal with and really went to bat for us brides on some issues that arose with our resort.

Everyone I have spoken to has told me to do Xelha....but I really want to snuba. Susie...can we snuba at Xelha too or only at Xcaret? I have been torn with which place to go because I don't want to spend all our down time racing everywhere! Shells why did you decide on Xcaret over Xelha?

Susie....good for you for not saying something nasty the other day. I would have been hard pressed and really biting my tongue.

Hope you all have a good day! One more holiday party to go tonight and then tomorrow I am off....I am going to sleep sleep sleep. Get up and feed the dogs and then sleep some more!

Hi Raykel, I didn't say anything the other day because I had my family and my gfriend and her boys here for dinner... so many things went through my head to say and I didn't.

I spoke to my brother last yesterday and I really hope this whole nightmare is over. She was very confrontational with my brother's landlord xmas night and he ended up asking her to leave and she said she wouldn't... he told me it got very ugly and he called her a cab and told her she could take a paid cab back to the shelter or he would call the police. Oh the drama!!!! I am a really easy going person and this type of situation is very upsetting to me.

I have told my Brother he can not bring her back to my house ever!!!! I told him I will not allow her to be apart of anything to do with my family. I am really hoping he gets it, because I am done being nice... So is bro's landlord... he has had to deal with a few of her drunk outburst. just nasty...

Hi ladies... welcome back Erica!!

I chickened out of skiing, I stayed at the resort and ice skated instead with our daughter. We had a ball on the trip though. On the way back we stopped at Woodbury Commons shopping outlet. I found some cute Diane Von Furstenberg swimwear on sale for the trip. I am exicited the the major holiday before our wedding is over... time will move so quickly now!! I am busy completing last minute projects and trying to finalize plans for the wedding week. Sooooooo excited :) can't you tell?!?! haha

Hey ladies....I just finished reading the 10 days of posts that I missed. FI and I ended up being in vegas for Christmas because of the weather and flight cancelations.

VDaybride- so sorry that I didn't call you, but we got to Vegas 3 days late (not until Tuesday) so I figured you were probably already happily married and returned home. PS your BD shoot looks amazing!!

I hope everyone was able to enjoy the holidays and family.

I know one thing for sure.......I will NEVER plan a trip so close to Christmas and risk not being home. It was really sad being away from our families, especially in Vegas. Everyone on the strip works on Christmas, you can't find a turkey dinner anywhere, and there wasn't even any special christmas entertainment. Sorry to vent, but I LOVE christmas with my family and I am still sour about missing it.

On the up side.....there was great shopping so I purchased a few extra things to brighten my day.

Timberly- Was it because I said I would never go skiing that I don't want a white cast for a wedding accessory? I bet ice skating with your daughter was really fun and special.

TeNeil- That so sucks that you got stuck in Vegas for the holidays- you can only see things so many times before you are sick of it all.

My hair trial run went really well tonight, but now I am not sure that I want to wear my tiara that I got. I will post photos for your honest opinons on the hair styles!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
