I hope you guys have found time to breathe because I feel like I haven't. I have spend 11 of our 19 days married away in other states and when I am here I am working in the office until almost 7 every night! We close on our condo on the 15th and we need to go in and repaint so much of it (one room has 3 hot pink walls a 1 lime green on) and rip out the baby blue carpet that she installed 2 years ago.... (the lady is crazy!!) So I have been so busy I can't even get my planning thread or review up yet uggghhh!

Ah it is half the size I have now... I divorced well lol!!!smile67.gif
I currently have 5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms on the second floor and two in the basement... My bedroom is 28 feet by 23.... So yeah half the size!!!!

We are going to look at it again tonight.... Mark is really trying to convince me to stay here one more year. I like this house it is just very big and hard to keep clean... I also live on a property the size of a postage stamp.... I know once the weather gets nicer I be happier here, the winter months are hard on me...
I do love that house because it is open concept and the size of the back yard. We'll see tonight.. one more look....friday.gifit's friday and I could be packing soon.

Hi ladies

Me again..... I am totally in a funk.. Mark is trying to talk me out of seeing that house again tonight... He said to me I need to stop and look around before crossing the street... WTF is that!!! His thing is he thinks I am making this move to get his daugther away from some of her friends (well maybe).. He also said that I am adding too much to my plate with an at home reception in two months and the stress of having our house on the market with two dogs and keeping it clean for potential buyers...Yes we vacuum and mop every second day because of a furry friends. however I will always have that issue when listing. The dogs are here to stay and that will be an issue when ever we list.

I am really bummed because i know he isn't on board... He is attached to this house and I friggin as hell don't know why.... Yup i am cranky!!!

Otherwise Timmy my love... I am so happy you are planning on an AHR because after all the stress you had you deserve to celebrate that moment one more time. Don't let a few jealous people take away you thunder.... You got married, your happy and life is great..... Celebrate... what better way to show people that forget their manners than your charm.

brooke you can not make a baby in another state!!!! just to let you know!!! Get home and get busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Susie- I thought it was Mark who wanted to move? I am confused now... Well, if he is not interested, then maybe he has a point. Relax, enjoy being a newlywed, stay in your current house for another summer, enjoy the pool and put it up for sale in September. Even if you put an offer on that other house it will be conditional to the sale of your current one no? I have to agree with Mark on this one. You don't need that kind of stress right now. You just got married. You should be relaxing and having LOT's of sex! LMAO xo

Timberley, if I remember correctly you went online to have your BD pics put in an album. Can I ask what company you used and if you were happy with the results?

I still haven't done anything with my BD shoot because an album through my photographer will cost anywhere from $300-700......not affordable now that we are paying off our wedding.

Any help would be great....thanks!

Our AHR is in less than a month. We're meeting with the hall to go over some things tomorrow. I've asked him if we could have an ice cream station set up. Marble Slab Creamery was at a bridal show I went to and I believe you pick two flavours of ice cream and five toppings - I forget how much it costs, but I need to look into it a little more. I need your thoughts - do you guys think you would like that if you were attending someone's AHR?

Hi ladies... time goes by so fast!!

Krista, I love ice cream, Id be stoked for a marble slab ice cream station... yum!!

TeNeil, did I miss seeing you on here? How was your wedding? I made my own album with shutterfly and it turned out well?

Susie, the new house is totally cute. I dont know why but after our wedding I too started looking at local properties and found us another house... we went and looked at it, called the realtor etc.... then decided better to relax a bit- maybe its from being so wound up for so long? Everything happens in good time... you never know, prices could drop even more?

Timberly- Sorry about your friends not giving congratulations- Im sure they are happy for you, everyone just has different ways of showing it (? dont know, I am making excuses)

Erika- how is the babymaking going? Are you taking your temperature? I started this month, just so I can know when is a good time. So far so good :)

Brook- Ive got to second Susie... you can make a baby when u r in a different state! Get home girl!

Chris- did u get an answer from your photog?

We (I) and DYING for the professional pictures!! Our photog for Jamaica said 10 days ago that he needed our address to send... Our photog for the AHR, emailed me 3 weeks ago and said they were on the way, WTF... leading me on!

Have fun planning the AHRs... with I could do it all over again... sooo fun!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
