I leave on the 28th!

We're having the ceremony and cocktail hour on the beach; then we're having our reception on the pool terrace

How many guests do you have coming from the UK?

I hope she emails you back soon so you can confirm your dates!

Email her again? On several occasions ive emailed her the same email twice because she ever replied

I wanted to look at Azul, but my fiance and I stayed down in Mexico in June 2011 to look for venues.  We took a cab from hotel to wander around and the random cab guy said Dreams is as good as it gets.  I mentioned The Royal, The Grand Caribe Real, Azul Sensatori, and several others and he said Dreams would be it once we saw it.  Hope that helps.

Also, I have youtube videos of our tour...

I will have a 2 year old and a 6 month old at the time of our wedding so we are doing just an intimate wedding with only 5 or so guests. Everyone seems to be planning big weddings here, and they are all gorgeous!!! Is anyone else planning or have done just the basics?   I am leaning more towards Dreams but they really cater to small children at Azul. I guess I'm a rare case, having had children before getting married lol.  Well I am loving looking at all the beautiful pictures. Thanks!

Hi Girls, does anyone have a review on the DJ that the resort offers... my guests are the type to dance all night and the music is VERY important. I also want him to have a microphone to be able to maybe announce us and our bridal party... any reviews on him or should we look elsewhere !?

Our wedding. 2/22/13

Any other Feb, 2013 brides on here !? I hope we picked a good month!!!!

Emily-

I haven't seen a reveiw of the DJ, but the email to reach out to him is:

[email protected]

He is very prompt at responding to emails so I would say any questions you may have he should be able to help.  I did also see a review maybe about 10-15 pages back of a bride who just got married there and said not to worry at all since he was GREAT!

That is really stupid. Did you ask about those who have say, allergies, or who are vegetarian, vegan. There are people who can fit into one category. I have yet to pick our entree so I think now that we can only choose one is very disappointing. lol I wonder if I bump into the bride who is also getting married on the same day if we could offer each other some entree plates as a trade. You know  since the kitchen would already be making it.

Just the one we stayed at.  Dreams was our first appointment and we fell in love.  We had both been to Sandals before and agreed that it blows Sandals out of the water.  No contest.  Dreams is new and updated and the staff is extremely hospitable.  The taxi driver said Dreams was so new and the other resorts were older.  He drives to all of them so he thought Dreams would be our best bet and it was!  Have you seen my videos?  Youtube: BelCantoRagazza

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
