Feedback on Riu All Inclusive Resorts

My sister and I just got back from the Riu Montego Bay and we loved it. They had a lot more Jamaican food than other all-inclusives we've gone to and that was a big plus for us. The rooms were nice and clean and the beach and pool were comfortable too.

I just stayed a week at the Riu Palace in Cabo in June and it is a perfect honeymoon spot! The staff and service is exceptional, the grounds are very well kept, the rooms were cleaned every day and the mini fridge restocked every day. It has a busier activity pool and a more quiet private pool. The nightly entertainment was enough you really never had to leave. I thought the food was very good and they have something for everyone. It was such a great place I have chosen to stick with the Riu for my wedding. You definitely can't go wrong by booking there!

I have stayed at the Riu Cancun, Riu Vallarta, Riu Jalisco and now we are going to have our wedding at the Riu Vallarta. I love the Riu. The grounds are so beautiful the service is exceptional, the food is great. I have nothing but great comments about the them. There drinks and entertainment are great as well.

Hi,

We just went to the RIU Santa Fe in Cabo in May and last year we stayed at The RIU Yucutan in Playa Del Carmen. Both had phenomenal service, great rooms. We felt the Santa Fe had way better food and we liked the resort in general better. However we like Playa more for its beaches and 5th ave.

The only thing we do not like about the RIU's is they do not have 24 hour room service. Also the worst part is for the restaurants you have to get up at 7am every morning to make reservations sad.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
