Things done:
1. Made Hair Appt to get hair trimmed and colored ( I have natural hair, so I may wear a twist-out or fro with my hair flower, both of which I can do myself)
2. Made Waxing Appt (.. never a happy time.. )
3. Finalized Cake
4. Made Appt for make-up (I'm getting Airbrush!)
5. Order Programs, Photosharing Cards, Postcards, and Calendar Magnets from VistaPrint for my quasi-OOT Bags lol (quasi meaning they get a lil something something.. but I am on a budget!)
6. Dropped off my Bridal Gown and Reception dress to get altered (lost 25 lbs from the day I ordered the gown :) ).
7. I ordered passport covers and luggage tags .. for us.
8. I ordered Wedding Favors from a fellow BDW'er. (starfish bottle toppers)
9. Bought all the Groomsmen and Groom's Shirts, Suits, Ties, and Pocket Squares.
10. Paid the photographer and the resort.

Things left to do:
1. Finish packing (yes, I made this insane packing list and have started packing already)
2. My son (18mths) is getting a custom made long sleeve linen shirt by someone off of etsy to match his linen suit, that I also got from etsy.
3. Fedex Real Touch Flowers to the WC
4. Buy a steamer for the dresses and linen suits.
5. Teeth Whitening (** BLING! **)
6. Bridal Jewelry
7. Practice walking around in the shoes
8. come up with a gameplan on how the dresses will make it to the Bahamas.
9. Plan the snorkel trip and trip to Atlantis for the immediate fam
10. French mani & pedi

Aww...love the idea of the linen suit and shirt for your 18month old...how cute!!! BTW...you've done a lot!!

Hey Ladies...well today I checked another thing off of my list...I had my hair trial done!! It looks amazing!! I'm sitting here writing this with wedding hair!! I'm feeling pretty good about everything...here are some of the things that I've recently completed and some remaining on my to do list!! I can't believe how soon we leave...it seems like yesterday we picked our resort!!

Recent Checks off of the List:

- Hair Trial with headband

- Bought Makeup - HD foundation, eye-shadow primer, eye-shadows, powder, bronzer, and eye liner

- Whitened my teeth

- Made Placecards - using sanddollars and MOB's doing the calligraphy

- Packed and Assembled OOT bags

- Started to hand out OOT bags - we're giving them out before we leave

- Made Raffia Fans

- Wrapped Pashminas

- Tied Ribbon around bubbles

- Bought hair flowers for my Bridesmaids

- Wrote all thank you's for all shower gifts

- Shopped for more strapless bikinis and cover-ups/sundresses

- Created Rock the Reception Mix

- Made Photo-book for Gift to my parents

- Received and Wrapped FI's Boudoir Book which will be his wedding gift

- Bought wall charger for the I POD

Still Need to Do:

- Choreograph our Rock the Reception First Dance

- Make wedding week time lines and meet the guest handouts...will give out at the airport

- Final dress fitting (scheduled for next week)

- Make frames for the favour table for Pashminas and Cigars

- Party at my Bachelourette!! Scheduled for June 26th!!

- Write Speeches for Rehearsal dinner and reception

- Print out correspondence with WC at the hotel and make an outline of the day and how things should be decorated for the WC

- Make sure playlists are set on the IPODS and make back up discs

I think that's about it...how's everyone else doing? We're getting so close now ladies...the end is in sight!!!

Sure don't want to waste money buying too many. Geez. I think I'm going to pick a number and go with it. Anyone who doesn't get an OOT bag for waiting last minute - oh well!
I feel your pain! We have 47 booked right now, wedding is on July 20th. Our first booking was for a July 8th wedding and we had to reschedule because the plane/resort filled up and our wedding party hadn't booked yet. Now, there are about 5 more people who are telling us that they want to come but are waiting for the cheapest price possible. It might give me a stroke before all is said and done. I have to arrange dinner and ceremony seating for all the guests and the late-bookers are making this very difficult. On top of this, the restaurant I booked only accommodates up to 50 people and if everyone books we'll be at 52 which means we'll have to pay and rent a private restaurant (our dinner is semi-private right now). But who knows if they'll book....

Three weeks from today, I'll be married...very exciting! (But still lots to do.) At least my FI bought shoes today, now he just needs a shirt for the wedding.

I wanted him to look like my husband's lil twin lol... Luckily I'm OCD enough to write down everything, which explains this ridiculous Packing List I developed lol!

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well.
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
