VERY upset with Bittersweet Wedding designs right now!

Just to clarify:

 

- I paid for extra bubble wrap to ensure that the flowers did not get damaged upon shipment (which is why they were in different packaging)

-The flowers bouquets were arranged in such a rush (clearly Crystal did these last minute), that the pins to hold the ribbon together were poking out. I put scotch tape over the pins so that Crystal would not poke her fingers when she handled the bouquets

- I also provided photos of all the flowers in the package to Crystal, so that Crystal was aware of their condition before I sent them back to her, so if they are filthy (not sure how they possibly could be) this is certainly not by my doing.

This is very upsetting and frustrating since such a big deal was made here and the entire time I insisted on receiving the flowers back first before issuing a refund. This is why. It really sucks that UPS screwed up, but I went above and beyond by paying for real flowers. From now on, there are no more refunding of deposits as it originally states in the contract anyway. And once the packages are in the hands of the shipping company, it is out of our control. I don't think Bittersweet even knows Scott-Pierre is on this forum. I think her argument means nothing to BDW girls anymore. This was one situation and anyone could decide that maybe it wouldn't happen again but only a few days after this thread ended a new one started... and what do you know!!! That bride didn't get her flowers either!!!!!!!!! Oh and Bittersweet blamed it on UPS AGAIN!!!!!!!!

 

This forum is GREAT! I'm fairly certain any member or anyone who googles and finds this thread will NOT use Bittersweet, some may even decide to let the money go and move on because in the end she has caused too much stress, especially when brides are already stressed days before they leave for a DW!

ok, i think we've made the point. let's keep this thread to facts and actual experiences with the vendor. we don't need to turn this into an attack on someone.

I beleive that Ann was referring to attacking the vendor as well as a bride. I think the truth is out there so the members can make their own decisions regarding whether they want to use a vendor. Keeping it just to the facts makes it easier for brides to not get caught up in the drama and make a decision based on the actual experieces rather then feedback.

 

ETA: I also wanted to say that this wasn't directed at you in particular, just in general this thread has turned into attack mode and we'd like to keep it just factual.

right, this wasn't directed at anyone in particular. i just think the point has been made, and unless there are any new developments or any of the involved members need to say more, i don't know that there is a need for further comments.

    • Hi all, My younger sister is 5 months carrying. She is suffering from hearing loss now. She was perfectly alright before she got conceived.
