one tip I have, is that if you can't find bamboo type paper, which is the backing on that invite (I've searched), then go to your local wallpaper store, they should have bamboo wallpaper which is thin and is nonself adhesive... to get this look.

Otherwise, I have no idea where to get this paper I also wanted to recreate an invite similar to this one but haven't been able to find this paper anywhere!

Monika, try looking for "woven grass paper".

This is the description of the invite the original designer gave me:

"For this invitation as pictured the cost is $12.25 each. That price
includes invitation printed on metallic card stock backed with a
woven grass paper and a second metallic card stock backing. The
invite is wrapped with an iridescent dot vellum wrap and finished
with a real starfish and waxed thread. Also included in this price
is an rsvp backed in metallic card stock with coordinating metallic
envelope and a white box for mailing along with adhesive strip."

I found a few places online, unfortnately I have a doctor's appt. I have to get to fast, but I will help you look when I return.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!!

I came across these boxes here:

MainStreetPackaging.com - White Swirl Jewelry Box #75 7 x 5 x 1 - 50/cs

The only thing is they come in a case of 50 for $21.80. I personally need 20 so I was wondering if there was anyone who wanted to split a case of 50. They are 7"x5"x1". Please let me know if you are interested!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
