I didn't dress up at all. We had our Legal Ceremony 3 days before our Cabo one and I wore tights, a flowy top and boots....it was cold out. If I find a pic i'll post it cheesy.gif

Thanks Ladies!smile03.gif I am looking for a cute white dress to wear but haven't found one! I think we will probably go out to an early dinner afterwards. I only told my immediate family about it I didn't have the heart to hide it from themblush2.gif No one else knows, it makes things easier that way. And I think I might get a nice bottle of wine for my FI (Husband at that point!) and I once we get back home!

We had our legal day this past Tuesday. We went in the middle of the work day so we weren't wearing anything special. It was literally about the paperwork for us, so afterward we came home popped open the laptops and finished out the work d ay on the sofa. Real romantic I know, but like some of the other girls our DR wedding is the big day. No one knows about the courthouse wedding - we even had to borrow the judicial secretaries for witnesses! LOL!

Well, its pretty much impossible for me to keep a secret from my family because we see them/talk to them almost everyday so we are probably just going to meet immediate family for dinner after we have our legal ceremony with just the 2 of us. I am planning on getting a white sundress to wear, pretty simple.

I need to find something to wear. I like the idea of keeping it casual. We are geting legal on our lunch hour, both our parents are coming to be there, then we will take a lunch, then I have to go back to work. Booo!

but I am excited, even tho Mexico will be our wedding date, the legal day will be fun too!

I haven't really thought about what to wear either. We won't be doing the legal ceremony until October though, so I have some time. We'll have our parents there, and my sister. Probably just go out to eat afterwards. It will be SO hard not to tell everyone!

My FI mentioned maybe having a "mini" reception and invite people from work and a few friends (who won't be invited to the wedding), but now I'm not so sure about that!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
