i LOVE puppy pictures!!!!!! they are all ADORABLE!!!

thank you so so so much everyone for your kind words about this nasty court situation. i think you all have it right.. it sucks everywhere! seriously, this whole situation has been going on for TWO YEARS!! i can't imagine how much worse it would have been if they had actually been married, but i'm quite thankful they weren't!

we actually booked brianna's trip yesterday, which makes me feel really good, even though it's not for sure yet. at least we'll be prepared!

shortnsweet, their situation is almost identical to your friends, except without the travel. it has gotten to the point where J and brianna's mom can't speak to each other without a lawyer involved.. it's unbelievable. she sends him texts all the time about how he doesn't do things right, even though he sees her more than her mom does (and she lives with her mom most of the time!). for some reason she's got one of those hard hearts where she can't see him succeed and she uses brianna as a weapon to get back at him. as an example: christmas day she was with us and it was supposed to just be till 5, but J also had her that weekend and he usually picks her up at 6. her mom actually tried to make him drop her off at 5 and then come get her again at 6. tell me how that is beneficial??

ahhh!! sorry for the crazy baby momma drama rant!! she's a crazy bitch, no doubt about that. only 11 1/2 more years till we're done with her :)

Seriously Erin? Drop her off at 5 and pick her up at 6? Is this chick on drugs? that poor child, and poor you...it's hard when you inherit a child and an ex...especially one that seems to be psycho like this one. I really hope it works out for you guys and she can be there!

It's too bad you are having so much "baby mama" drama Erin. It has to be super frustrating. You are so right... your situation sounds sooo much like my friend's situation. But, it sounds like you and his daughter get along just fine despite all the drama.

My FI doesn't have any children, so luckily I don't have to deal with "baby mama" drama.

shortnsweet - SO sorry to hear of your scary dog situation. We have a 2-year old boston terrier, who is currently curled up on my lap right now but still whining at me b/c I am typing, not petting her -- haha! I am glad your dogs are okay and surely will be too at their doggie day care. I know our little dog is our baby. I can't imagine how scary that is!

Ebredhawk - hang in there with the court cases. I'll be keeping my finger crossed that things go in your favor, and hopefully giving you a few weeks to spare before your trip. I think everyone is right, J's daughter will grow up and eventually realize that you and J have her best interests in mind and perhaps her mother is just using her as a bargaining chip. So sad to hear that kids have to go through this! I hope she can go and see what a wonderful union marriage really is!

Tracy -- ooo la la! Okay A) you are in darn good shape lady! ** jealous ** and B) The black outfit is super sexy! He is going to love them!

jerseykitten -- good tip on the packets vs the medicine bottles. Definitely going to order some of those!

PS -- thank goodness, my flight that was supposed to be the day after the bachelorette party is pushed a few days later! Yay!!! That will be one less thing to stress about!

Tracy- very sultry pics! He's going to love them- you look great. I second the black lingerie being all kinds of awesome. I really love the way your hair and makeup turned out, too. You look amazing girl!

shortnsweet- I love your dogs, they're so cute. Your black dog reminds me a bit of my Nara (the small female) although they're different breeds. I love Lab mixes, we had one growing up and he was the nicest, smartest dog.

Erin- I'm so sorry that this situation with FI's daughter and her Mother has been such an ongoing thing. The woman sounds like she's got a screw or two loose. I don't understand why she'd be so petty, sounds like she needs to take a deep breath, get over herself and start putting her daughter first. I feel sorry for the little girl because it can't be easy for her. Hang in there!

My dog tries to push my laptop out of the way when she wants attention or puts her wet nose under my arm when she wants to be petted. LOL...

That's great news about your flight... The less stress, the better.

Thanks Mel. Your Nara reminded me of Kayla when I saw your pic. My lab mix is also smart and soooo sweet.

ShortNSweet,

That is so cute you dog moves things to have your attention, truly like a child!!! to adorable, you all will miss the puppy's so much when your gone for the wedding, who's doing 1, who's doing 2 weeks.

I know we are leaving in a month and 17 days and all I can think about is how much I am going to miss my 4 cats, and their usually sleeping, so I know it'll be worse for you guys with the dogs, as they are usually always around you guys.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
