Since I have gotten so many ideas from this wonderful website, I thought I should return the favor. I sent out these STD's in Christmas cards back in December so I could save on postage :) The only problem was that our date changed (to a day earlier) a month after I already sent them out. But thankfully I could post that on our wedding website so everyone was aware of the update.

Here's what I used:

Magnets: 3.5" x 2" adhesive magnets purchased in a box of 100 from Staples

Paper: Avery Clean Edge Business Cards (#8873) - Linen Textured, Two-Side Printable white Ink Jet cards. 2" x 3.5"

Tags: "Paper Reflections" Creative Tags - Small 4-1/4" x 2-1/8" - purchased from Joann Fabrics

Ring Punch: Martha Stewart Embossed Diamond Ring double craft punch purchased from Michael's

Teal Raffia

Scotch Scrapbooker's Glue with 2-way applicator (This stuff is the best!)

Here's how I did it:

Downloaded the free software Avery Design Pro and used the template for #8873 paper

Purchased the palm artwork from iStockPhoto

All of the design was done in Avery Design Pro. It was super easy to use and allowed me to customize everything! I also created a black border around the outside of the card to differentiate the card from the tag because they weren't the same "whites". The cards came in a perforated sheet so I didnt have to cut a thing! I attached the card to the tag with the scotch glue and then put the magnets on the back. I punched out the diamond rings from silver scrapbook paper and finally tied the ring to the tag with the raffia/ribbon.

Everyone loved them!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
