Personally, I think we should allow them to continue - I'll just have to email them anything related to the results, etc.

*Whatever the outcome, I think this needs to be mentioned in the rules for any future seasons!
Hmmm, idk how I feel about this. I'll have to think on it. On the one hand, we do have non-forum members participating in the contest, but on the other, if you can't follow the rules of the forum and are permanently banned idk how I feel about them winning the pot. I think if the ban was permanent or temporary would sway my decision. Can you give us that info or is it private?

This is tough because we do have some non forum members competeing, but if you can not obied by the rules of the forum, you then can not paritcipate in other contests such as photography.

Should this contest be any different? I am leaning toward DQ, but not set either way at this point. Just my current thoughts.

Ok, so I've been thinking about it and here's my 2 cents:

I think the person should be dq'd from the contest and that their money should be refunded to them. While we do have non-members participating in the contest, it is only because they are friends or family of active BDW members. I feel that unfortunately, regardless of the circumstances, if you are banned from the forum permanently you should be disqualified from the contest. [This would also make it clear for future contests so we don't get into debates about why someone was banned and if the reason would affect whether or not they are out of the contest.] Tammy has rules on the forum for a reason and I feel that if they weren't followed (intentionally or not) and she deems you are to be banned, then you forgo the contest. JMO.

I agree with this statement. I feel bad to say DQ but if you broke the forum rules you should have no access to the contests anymore. For her husband IDK maybe he should continue since it was not his fault the actions she did. Thats my thoughts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
