They are not bad but FI would probably get something baggier if he could do it over.

Do you think the semi-baggy would have been a better choice? My fiance hates tapered pants so I considered the bootcut but I saw that someone said they had a girly fit to the. The trouser fits are so confusing to me.

Just got our custom linen suit yesterday and the hubby tried it on last night! First, I was really impressed the quality of the suit! All the stitching looked very good and the material was nice. We added the extra layer on the pants which was a good idea. otherwise it would have been slightly see-through.Second, the fit was all WRONG! The pants were way tight even though we added an extra inch to the wait and the pants quite short. Overall, the suit looked tight. I am hoping there is enough room to get this altered. Third, there are shoulder pads that I wasn't aware of. So make sure to measure the shoulder measurement well. Lastly, we went with the Natural Linen color which has a definite yellow undertone to it. It should look completely different in the natural sunlight of Jamaica though. :) We are happy with the quality and my fiance says that the suit is very comfortable. So now we just need to see if the alterations can be made.

hope this helps!

I finally placed my order last night!  Too many measurements for me, so I went with the pre-set sizes (site said the pre-set are made just like normal clothing).  Ordered my fiance a linen suit in tropical beige and all the groomsmen & fathers tropical beige linen pants.  The pre-set comes unhemmed, which I'm happy about 'cause it means no matter what, they have to go to a tailor, so if something isn't fitting correctly, then can fix it then!  I will update everyone once I receive them!

i got pictures finally!  FI tried on the suit and it fits great!!! i also LOVE the quality and color - it is PERFECT.  i am soooo happy i listened to everyones good reviews on this thread and now i can 100% add my own awesome review!!!! totally and completely worth the price.  we totally could not afford a brand new suit - or so i thought - before finding studiosuits, i thought we would have to go the khaki pants route with no jacket. and i was kind of disappointed because i have such a fancy dress, so i really wanted FI to be comfortable AND be dressed up!! i envied all the pics i googled of men's attire for destination wedding and now my FI has his own! i am waaayy more thrilled than he is obviously, LOL.  but he says its comfortable, fits good and he concurs that the suit is overall good quality.

we ordered the preset sizes for jacket and pants. so the pants came un-hemmed as it said they would, but no biggie, we can hem them for fairly cheap.  i think the jacket is tad too long on his arms, but FI says its fine.  but he said when he gets the pants hemmed, he will bring the jacket and see if they think they should do anything with it.

so without further adieu, here is my FI in his beige linen suit!  the pants are a 32 regular (i folded them to the right length for the picture) and the jacket is a 42 regular.  color is Beige Linen and i LOVE it!!! i chose the color based on a previous post on this thread!

Oh and the shirt he is wearing and we think it goes well, so no need to spend money on a new shirt.  The tie I bought from Dessy to match the color of the BM dresses.

LADIES- before you order, make sure to read the reviews about getting professionally measured or ordering a preset size. I was impatient and excited and did the measurements myself! lol We just took the suit in to get altered and it will cost approximately $100...so just wanted to give you all a heads up! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
