In the most recent forum upgrade, all of the reference links where broken. There are probably thousands of broken links and this thread explains it - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...n-links-50592/. If you see any broken links, post in the thread that I just provided and we will try to update the links. Some of them, there is not an easy way to identify, but some of them we can tell from the content of the thread what the link would be.

Good luck with organizing those ROR threads. Click the image to open in full size.

I agree, it'd be nice to just have one place to go and get all the info you need on the Iberstar!

I'm sorry you're annoyed. Carly and all of the moderators/administrators of this forum volunteer our time to help run this free forum so that DW brides can share information. You seem to feel very entitled for something that is being provided at no cost to you, and by people who actually have lives, jobs, families, obligations outside of this forum.

I suggest you do as Carly asked and post the broken links in the thread she provided and we will research and fix them if we can, and when we have a free moment.

@ All who seem to be offended by MY post: I do believe I CLEARLY stated that I understood the issues regarding the broken threads were the FAULT OF NO ONE. It's just kind of weird to see instructions for reporting broken threads....IN A POST WHERE ALL OF THE THREADS ARE BROKEN...LOL! I mean, if you're currently reading a thread where an issue is at hand, why not just fix it?

That aside, I am well aware that the moderator position is a volunteer one, and kudos to those that have CHOSEN to take on that responsibility in such a high traffic forum. I will continue to browse and post as I see fit, and will ensure that all of my posts are placed in the correct thread as to not inconvenience the "life, job, family, or other obligations" of the moderators.

Happy planning ladies!

Latoya, I'm not sure why you seem to have such taken such a great offense, but this forum is a happy place full of people that have gotten to know each other while planning their weddings and some of us have even gotten to be friends in "real life" and stuck around much after our wedding. I would appreciate if you would keep the negativity to yourself, or perhaps read this thread - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-banned-32834/. Also, if you don't mean to offend anyone, perhaps you should re-read your postings and tone down the attitude. Perhaps you don't mean them to contain such attitude, it's hard to read a "tone" in writing, but what comes of of your posts is definitely not a nice attitude.

And to clarify on the broken links - when we go to a thread that we have read before, it takes us to the NEW posts, so we don't see the previous posting that may contain broken links. I don't think it's too much to ask our members to post in the "Broken Links" thread when they see that a thread contains broken links.

Wow. I see handling issues in an adult manner and "off line" is non-existent on BDW as I just sent you a PRIVATE message apologizing and commending the moderators of this site. Guess that was a waste. I will however, take the high road and not comment any further on this issue. Have a nice day.

So you come to this thread and post negative comments publicly, then when you get called out on those comments publicly, you take offense and accuse me of acting un-adultlike? I'm really confused by your train of thought here. I did receive your PM, but it was AFTER I had already replied in this thread. And semi-apologetic PM or not, I stand behind my comments. Whether you meant to have an attitude or not, I am pointing out that it comes across that way, so if you want to make friends here you should re-read before you post. Otherwise members aren't very welcoming to people who don't bring anything positive. I'm assuming that you also didn't read the thread that i posted about why people get banned. We cannot tolerate attitude such as you are giving here, b/c if we let people run rampant with their negativity, this forum would NOT be the happy place that it is.

Oh and you have a nice day as well and enjoy your temporary ban.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
