CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if we will be doing OOT bags as we are just having immediate family and a few close friends, however, after reading this thread I want to do it!  It sounds like so much fun to put them together.  I just don't think our budget will allow for them, but you have still given me great ideas for favors!

Head's Up Canadian brides!

Michael's is clearing out some of their "christmas stock" and they have playing cards and luggage tags in animal prints (leopard, zebra etc) and gold letter monograms. The animal print ones were $0.45 and the gold letters were $0.75.

Winnipeg brides may be out of luck, I cleaned them out.  :D

I wanna echo those who have also had BAD experiences with promopays.ca

As other brides have posted, their website looks great and has great prices but to this day NO ONE has written back to any one of my 3-4 emails for quotes...... DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME.

I'm glad it was helpful! I'm not a huge fan of the snakeskin print, but I think I'll get a fun sticker or something to personalize it.  At least it's not a bright obnoxious colour!

I was at Dollarama (in Edmonton) yesterday and they had some really cute small beach bags!  I think they were $2 each, but soooo much nicer and better quality than the ones they had over the summer.  If I didnt already have bags, I would have bought these.  No solid colors, mostly stripes and some patterns.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
