I just want to let you all know, for those of you that are considering getting fans or parasols, anything personalized, or even the sand ceremony set, an awesome site is Weddingfavours.ca

The best part is, they are CANADIAN!!!!  They ship with CanadaPost, I had no real issues with them (1 parasol had a tear, called them, they sent me a new one next day, no cost to me).  I got 60 fans, 11 parasols, personalized napkins, and it all shipped wonderfully.  For those brides in the GTA or Windsor area, the store is located in Ingersoll, Ont and well worth the drive out.  They have all kinds of favours and gifts for parents and bridal party.  Plus then you can actually see what you are buying.  They are super professional, and reasonably priced (seeing as you pay close to the same from the US, plus S&H, plus duty).  Plus it's pretty quick if everything is in stock.

Good Luck!!!

Another good one is www.myweddingstuff.ca

I actually picked up a certificate from fabfind.com that got me $100 worth of merchandise for $50 plus $6 shipping. The customer service was great and relatively easy to order using a certificate....arrived within just a couple days. Prices are standard as they sell a lot of weddingstar items. I would highly recommend especially if you can score a discount certificate like I did!

has anyone purchased them before? if so did you have to pay duty on them when they came across the border?

I ordered my mugs through them and they were amazing, emailed me that day to design logo and had them sent to press same day. I recieved them really fast too UPS (which I believe is standard because of size, I ordered 100) and I did pay something when they were delivered, not sure if it was taxes or duty or what, but it wasn't too much.

Does anyone have any extra zipper name badge holders?  I think I remember a bride ordering WAY too many on here so I thought I would check.... I will take some off your hands as we do not have enough of the bright coloured zipper pouches we bought at target and I am going to need something for our "overflow" guests!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
