CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

I bought the packs of pepto chewable they come in blister packed sheets of 6 and then I put two in a mini craft zipper bag and created my own bag topper.  Another option is they come in 12 packs same way (I bought 48 packs).  I first bought the 12 packs but then the 48s were cheaper they come in a box so you could do an individual of the 12 packs each.

Here is a link to give you a better idea of what I am talking about

I just ended up buying the boxes at walmart, of the 48's of pepto bismol, and then the boxes of imodium, and then put in one sheet of each, in each bag. ( the bos of imodium comes with 8 packs of 6 pills... so one pack in each..  not the cheapest.. as the US has them way cheaper.. however by the time you pay conversion and shipping etc.. it comes out to about the same .. so no way of avoiding that unfortunately.. unless you are lucky ebnough to go across the boarder!! :)

Haha No worries at all girl!! it was my own fault for being impatient and not doing enough research!! that website is awesome though and it will help alot of other brides!!!! :)

I might even buy the advil packs from drugstore.com cause they are cheaper than the dollerama!!! if i can get enough stuff for the free shipping it will be totally worth it!!! :)

Like I said, if you can't find advil let me know, I will be scouting out dollaramas in the next few days and will check for advil. I want to give advil and tylenol. I found out my new in laws may be insulted if I give them Tylenol...I guess there was a big poisoning scandal with Tylenol in the UK a few years ago so a lot of people avoid Tylenol...oops. It is good to have both anyways. I can't believe the mark up on products, Poly to go is still 7.00$ at Walmart and Advil is 3$ for the travel size!

OH MY GOSH! I love drugstore.com... GAH I need to disable myself from this thread lol, it makes me spend SO much money, im going to get browsing and see if I can help chip in on any of the finds!!! I feel like I already have most of it though so I am half affraid to look and see what I could have gotten a better deal from lol.

Dollarama also has Wet Napkins (called wet ones) Done quote me on this, as they are tucked away in my closet, BUT I think its 32 for 1.00 or something along those lines???  A great thing to put in bags, especially if there are parents.... God I hate sticky fingers lol.

I haven't been on this thread for so long and there was so much great info to catch up on. You ladies rock!!! Love, love this thread.

Luvmoo, my fiance yesterday said that he needs to look at everything that I've bought already and our budget before I buy anything else :). I distracted him and still haven't shown anything :). Men do not understand how much fun OOT bags can be and how addicting this thread is :)

Check out the beauty.com side too..there are good cosmetics. Unfortunately no great Oot bag finds but some nice stuff for a bride maybe!

I am going to check out Liquidation world here in Edmonton today...I think other cities in Canada have these. They may have great finds. I am also going to check Giant Tiger...good discount store and I will let you know if I find anything!

Any luck with Liquidation World?  Also, where is the Giant Tiger?  Is it better than Dollarama, Walmart or Target?  I haven't really started shopping for my bags yet, other than looking for a few things online.  I always seem to go shopping with my FI and he has no interest in looking around for this stuff.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
