I am so happy and relieved! My dress wasn't going to get her until the middle of March, but it came early and it takes away so much stress! I am kicking myself though for not ordering a smaller size. The dress I tried on at the shop was little too big, the lady at the shop told me not to order a size smaller because the one in the shop was stretched and of course it is easier to size down then up. My plan all along was to lose weight and I told her this but I guess it sounds like a cliche :) I did manage to lose some pounds so now the dress is about 3 inches to big in the waist and above area. Oh well. I have to bring it in next week for alterations, but there is so much lace detail on my dress I am really worried.
So besides that I still have to find jewelry, a veil and hair flower and am looking for a little input. I live in a real remote area (the only way to even a walmart is about a 7 hour drive over a dirt road) and have left the ordering of those things to an online source.
I am looking for a very classic, typical, not too large and affordable chandelier earrings online - any suggestons?
I was thinking of not doing a necklace, I love the simplicity, but my sis really thinks I should - what do you think?
I am also thinking about doing a 1 tier waist length veil in ivory (the underlay in the dress is white but the lace on top is ivory), do you think that will suit the dress? And should it be ivory? I am really tempted to do a birdcage too! I won't beable to try on any veils here so I do have to order something. I found some on etsy, any suggestions for a place online?
As you can from all the questions, I am a very indecisive person and I have been lingering with all these decisions. Any input would be greatly appreciated! I tried it on last night and really should have taken pictures - I will for my first fitting!!
Here is a picture of it on the model....

That is gorgeous! I love chandelier earrings and I think they would look great with that dress.

I love the dress! I probably wouldn't do any big jewlery...just stud earrings, either diamond or pearl, a simple bracelet and a hair flower. The dress is so pretty on its own. And as far as the alterations go, its easier to take a dress in than it is to let it out

I think you should skip the necklace, the dress is very detailed and beautiful on its own. Earrings could go with stud or simple chandelier.

I also think a simple elbow length veil will be beautiful, I am not sure if you need a birdcage.

Beautiful!!! I'm w/ Ana on the jewelry, don't take away from the beautiful detail of your dress. I think the ivory veil would be fine. oh, and no necklace, i think a necklace w/ the detail would make it kind of busy

Thanks ladies! What do you think of these earrings? Too much? I love chandelier earrings and haven't really had a chance to wear them before but I don't want to have everything too busy either :)

                Absolutely STUNNING!

Personally? I think less will be more with this dress, so I agree with the others. The detail is so amazing, it really is enough on it's own...so some dangly earrings and you're good to go! Can't wait to see it on!

Love your dress! Agreed- no necklace, but I love the earrings from Etsy! They look perfect & they're the cheapest, right?

Your dress is gorgeous! I would definitely go with the etsy chandeliers!! I wouldn't do a necklace..you will have enough with the earings and the details on the dress.
