Thanks everyone on giving me some advise.... I totally appreciate it.
Both dresses are beautiful, but I think the first one seems like a safer bet w/ a knock-off dress. I was considering very similar styles but was worried a lace overlay done wrong might look cheap. If done right, it's stunning though.

I've seen the first dress before, I'm pretty sure it's either a Pronovias or San Patrick dress from this season. I'll try to help you find more of the exact pics of the dress if you like.

Ok, I'm back, it was an easy find 'cause like many other brides I've looked at 30,000 gowns online only to buy one completely opposite of what I wanted (but for rediculously cheap).

It was the San Patrick Postal dress.

Here's some extra pics so it's easier to make a decision:

The quality was very good on the one I ordered but I am not able to use it. Good luck to you.
Thanks Margret, I am going to see if I can find my dress choices at some of the stores around town...

Ok so I got a super fast response from Duosheng, so far Wendy has been easy to talk to and very helpful. Now I just need to pick a dress. For the ladies who have done their TTD already or actually anyone for that matter I need some advice. I went to Priscilla of Boston today and tried on two dresses I was in love with when I first chose my actual wedding dress. (I won't do my wedding dress in the knock-off version because I am worried that with all the applique and beading it won't be done well and will look cheap). Thing is I can't decide which dress I like more. They both fit so well and look fab on. Here they are:

The second one I couldn't find a good pic of it online to post so here it is on their website:

Style 4311 | Priscilla of Boston

The first one I am so in love with, it is linen and lace applique over, the low back, the train, everything but I am worried that it will be a bit hard to manuever around in for all the romping on the beach of a TTD. The second doesn't look great on the model but it is a beautiful dress, very light weight but not as "WOW" as the other dress. What do you ladies think?

I tried on VERY similar styles and this dress is pretty much two of my favs combined. I can't wait to get it! And I'm PRAYING it looks and fits right. I cut it close so there is no real room for error.

Barbiegirl....lol! Yes I am super tiny I am usually a size 00. That is the problem I am having, the mermaid dress actually gives me some shape. The other one is pretty but since the bottom of it is very flowy I lose my shape in it. But the bust area on #2 is tight and so it cinches me in underneath and that looks cute too. I wish I had taken a pic in #2.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
