You're welcome. FYI, China will be shut down for a  month beginning in a couple of weeks for Chinese New Year so your production time will be extended by that long. Don't wait too long to get your order in. Come back and post what you decide to go with!

WHAT! I will be ordering this week then. Thanks!

Don't worry, it's not really for a month. They have Chinese New Year mid of February, I would count on 1-2 weeks delay max. But indeed, if you need it soon, don't wait to long! My wedding is May 9th already so am also planning to order asap. Once I make up my mind that is :)

Well some vendors may be different, but I've been told 1 month from several of the dress makers on Etsy. Here's what she wrote me:

Dear Yxxx

Since we'll have 1 month off for our CNY holidays, this is the most important festival in our country, the processing time would be much longer, maybe 6-8 weeks, dose it work for u?

Any questions, pls feel free to contact me at any time:)

Hello all, anyone go with a Galia Lahav knock off? If so, which vendor did you order from and are you happy with it? Please include pix in your response. I'm looking to shop with babyonline but still looking into aliexpress, dressilyme, and upon reading the threads, carabridal, and jasmine. I've seen some nice knockoffs and I'm not hesitant to purchase, however, I would like a nice experience and to receive a product that looks like the Galia I want. Going to a Galia trunk show this sat 1/31/15 to try on her styles. Sadly, the dress I want is from last year but I'm hoping the bridal shop still carries it. Hope they don't treat me like a plebeian when they realize I don't have or want to spend 5, 000-10, 000 on a dress.

Ok because I had such a hard time finding info on buying a Chinese knock off I want to post a detailed review. This dress is gorgeous. Really well made. Great details, there are little beading details that are very well done. The ruching is lovely. The fabric is really soft and pretty. I paid $200 including rush shipping and processing for a custom made wedding dress. There's a ribbed bodice, nice satin inner lining, beautiful chiffon outer layer. And it's exactly what I ordered. The waist could be taken in a bit but that's because I mismeasured my natural waist (took it too low and therefore the number was larger) and I meant to tell them to remove the train but I forgot. But they made exactly what I ordered and did an excellent job of copying the original. Honestly, it fits wonderfully and really doesn't need any alterations just that one little 1/2 inch or so! Best purchase I've ever made! Couldn't love it more.

They were super responsive when I asked them to remove the sequins, always answering my emails promptly. I could not recommend dressilyme.com more for a wedding dress. Not sure about bigger poofy ones but for this fairly simple sheath one I couldn't have done better. The quality is way better than most of the dresses I tried on at David's Bridal.

OMGSH That's amazing!! I've definitely saving that link for when I order, wow!

Hi, I am new as well. I got my dress made by Carabridal and I absolutely love my dress. I am so happy I went this route. I just did not see anything I truly loved in my price range at the bridal salons. This is me at alterations. The bust was slightly big so she will take it in and I am a bit hippy, so my seasmstress is going to let it out a tiny bit. So glad she is doing it as a gift. Definitely budget for alterations... If I didn't have my wonderful seamstress, I probably would have paid some $$$$ to have my dress perfect.

Very pretty!

Do a reverse google image search- it should tell you all the info you need.

This helps me, too! Thanks!

I know this page is old, but I hope we can revive it. I am on the hunt for a galia lahav replica, in blush.

I love that designer and I'm hoping to see examples of the workmanship from some of the more well-known sites like Jasmines.  I'll be following and cheering for your success in your search!

Hi everyone. Congratulations to all you brides and brides-to-be out there! I bought a dress a few years ago but we cancelled our plans due to ill health in the family. Now that we are ready again I want to get a new dress as I think the original one will be too bright for a DW (it's red). Not sure of the original designers but can't decide between these.

I know!! I'm just going to wait and once I've lost my last bit of weight I'll try a few on in a store near me to see what style suits best and get proper measurements taken. Might even find something better there! I have been to quite a few shops but nothings grabbed my attention yet...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
