Oh! Beautiful dress!! I ordered my dress from bigdaydress and it also has some similar ruffles..my dress had ruffles on the side and back... I can recommened them from my own experience... i would suggest just to email all the dress makers you want to hire and ask them for photos of dresses that they have done that are similar... also make sure they use the same material like the one you tried on (if you know what material was used). Good luck!

Another tip: tell them your wedding is earlier than it actually is, so they'll rush it faster. If you go with duosheng their dresses do look very high quality. Ask them for pictures before shipment.

So all in all ginanarbridal is better than duosheng yhou think. I just wrote her and asked her about the express service. Which one of those two companies are better (quality and the dress itself)?

thanks alot!

Have any of you considered dressilyme? I don't know now it seems like Babyonline is are taking lots of business, and I think Babyonline's customer service is suffering because they're taking on too much.

I also remembered Bonnie saying somewhere that Gianinar can be inconsistent- there have been instances where they screwed up- although by and large they do well.

Blackkinu had her dress made by Dressilyme and loved it. They have a facebook page with previous dresses.Don't forget Jasmine's Bridal as well (also with previous customers dresses on facebook)...  pretty amazing when you remember that facebook is government-banned in China.

I would say if you're willing to spend twice as much on your dress, duosheng seems like they are more consistent with quality. I haven't heard any bad reviews on them. However I'm not sure if they offer the photo service before they ship the dress. If they don't mention it I would ask about it specifically. You know better than they do exactly how you want your wedding dress to turn out, so its better if you can see it before they ship it so if there is anything you want altered they can do it. Also you might ask them if you can pay half down and then the rest after you get the photos before they ship the dress to ensure they don't do what babyonline has been doing lately and agreeing to send photos, but then shipping the dress without sending photos.

I ordered my wedding gown from PerfectWeddingForever.com which recommended by my cousin,I'd seen a dress by VeraWang and fell in utter love. But there was NO way I was paying the $5k price tag. So I decided to take the leap, I ordered the dress in June. and received it in the beginning of July. It was STUNNING and PERFECT!!!  The craftsmanship was unbelievable and Susan and everyone at Perfectweddingforever.com were very accommodating!

Really good idea about paying the half and then the rest when you get the photos. This will ensure that you will see the final dress and make sure it's exactly how you want it

Hi Ladies - I just placed my order with babyonline for my wedding dress!  So excited.  For those who were wondering about measurements, babyonline sent me the below picture, which was really useful!  I'm nervous about fit, but since the dress cost me $185, instead of $1,200, I feel like I have a budget to do alternations if need be.

Good luck everyone!

Erin

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
