I had full intentions on wearing a veil. It was elbow length and my something borrowed. Sadly, it was WAY too windy and when I took it outside to test it, the silly thing nearly suffocated me! So I went sans veil. I loved it though. I had a flower in my hair and I felt like that was enough.

The one I got was short, which I really liked for a DW because it was less formal. I say go for it!
Wow Kelly...we are way too much alike!! Are you sure we're not related...or twins even!!?? LOL
I too was not going to wear a veil, but my friend convinced me to bring hers with me "just in case". I was planning on just putting it on for a few pics - but once I was dressed & ready to go I realized I wanted the veil. And I'm so glad I went with it - I love the look of it in pictures. Especially this one...I love how it flows behind me as we're dancing!

In my opinion The veil makes the bride look like a bride, I personally love the veil with flowers too although I am not a big fan of the tiara though!

You guys are great! Thanks for the advice. I think I'm going with a veil. I may regret not having one. I'm gonna make it though, so if I don't use it I don't get mad about spending extra $. Here is the dress I bought. The model has a veil on with it. Maybe I will do the same style veil as the pic.

We are way too much alike. There are actually pictures of me from our wedding that I really like, but wish I still had my veil on! I really love it. Maybe even more than my dress.

I chose a birdcage veil cuz I wanted to feel "bridal" with a veil, but not have to deal w/ wind, etc. I ended up doing hair flowers and the birdcage. I absolutely LOVED my veil. (Wish there was an excuse to wear it again!) LOL!
