Many of you have so much great advice to give us ladies who are about to tie the knot...... So I am going to have under 20 guests and was wondering what things that you did that really made a difference and things you did and was whatever......

I am just not sure if I should do wedding programs.. I only have a MOH and he has BM...........or like ceremony fans........ the little things like that...... So I guess I asking for ideas of what I should DEF do because they were great or some stuff that would be nice but it is time consuming and didnt really matter in the end............

I am so glad I found this forum... everyone on here is GREAT!smile03.gif

As for me... I had 13 people join us for our day along with the same size wedding party. Since it was all family that came down to Jamaica, even though I wanted to do a program, I really didn't think it was needed. To fill the void of no program I went with making the raffia fans with our names and wedding date as an extra favor and a pop of color on the chairs. So in the end I madea flyer for the day of the wedding and passed them out either the night before to our guests as they went to bed or at breakfast. My flyer had everything going on that day and where and when we would be along with names of the wedding party at the top. The were half size flyers because I wanted to make sure they fit nicely in a scrapbook or photo album. That might be something for you too ... If you want them then do them.. It's your day and you are the bride.. no one can take that away from you!

I know what you mean! I am also having about 20 people and mostly family. I get so many great ideas from this forum but am not sure if I should or shouldn't because there are not too many of us. I think for the programs I'll do something simple and small. I am doing OOT bags with welcome lettter and useful info about the resort and area, favors for dinner, and some ceremony details but that is about it for now.

We are also having a small wedding (15 people including me and my FI). Instead of programs, I am simply including an itinerary for the wedding day itself (there are some great templates on here for that!) and am focusing more on the OOT bags.

We are having a small wedding as well - 30 guests including Scott and I... and 4 of them are kids... we are not doing a program or anything like that... We will have favours - that will be it. Our group is our family and closet friends - plus we each only have one person standing up with us.

There are soooo many fantastic ideas that you could incorporate but I didn't want to be hauling a bunch of stuff down with me... maybe will consider some of the other things for our AHR...

I was tossing around the idea of a program thinking it was a must but I have now decided not to. I made a meet the greet brouchure with everyone's picture and how they knew Kyle or I and if they were in the wedding party. I also made a timeline for the day that will go in everyone's bag so I thought was enough.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
