Hey Erin! I just got a couple emails from Jodi the other day and she likes to throw out different prices, but she hasn't mentioned anything to me about the deposit or when payments are due. I'm glad you mentioned it since we are getting married the same day. I'm starting to get freaked out. I can't believe it's getting so close.

Hi Paula!! Jodi-Ann only mentioned that time frame one time so I am not sure how strict it is. I decided to do less than I originally was planning. Did you decide on your reception decor? I can't believe how close our day is!!!

In regards to Tai Flora...I put my wedding date in the subject line and that seemed to help.  She didn't mention about deposit until after she sent the invoice and I asked her about it.  Thats when she mentioned the pay in full before the wedding and because my date is so close I have to do credit card or bank of america transfer. I can't mail in the payment.

Have you asked about the bonfire yet? Or has anyone here read a review by someone who did it for a welcome party? Just curious cause with the one wedding per day policy I'm wondering if it's possible to book a bonfire if somebody else is getting married that night and wants a bonfire for their reception.

Does anyone have any input on their experience with that? I'd love to only have to pay for an hour, but am afraid it wouldn't be enough time. But then again there's only going to be 15-20 of us anyways. Input?

That's a good point...I never thought about that. I haven't asked just because our wedding isn't until February...I figured the WC's are busy enough with the more current brides.

That is a good question!! I know for us, we are planning to have the Bonfire reception for our wedding.. not as the welcome dinner or party or what not, however i am getting married on February 23rd, and it happens to be a Thursday.. I read other brides talking about how the Bonfire party for the resort is on Thursdays.. so i am curious as to how they deal with that... if they reschedule the bonfire night, or if they just have it at another location or what... lol

I haven't asked the WC yet as bjcs mentioned, with me not getting married till February i figure i have lots of time to inquire :)

                Hi ladies,

Does anyone know if me and my FI stay at the suites for our trip, can people come to our room the day of the wedding to get ready? I would really like to stay at the Suites but don't want there to be issues the day of the wedding.

                Thanks for any advice!

My husband and I were married at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach on July 23, 2011. My photographer sent me the pictures back already. Here is the link to check them out! We had an absolutely amazing time the entire 10 days we were there. Do no worry about a thing! Silvia will take care of everything for you once you are there. She is really sweet and helpful!

Congrats Angela! Your pictures are beautiful and you and your husband are precious together! Saab did a wonderful job capturing the moment. One question in particular for you. Was your aisle runner platform (something hard to walk on) or was a just a regular soft runner? Did you wear heels or flats as you walked down the aisle?
