Do you have the inspiration pic? What kind of flowers were they? I know I loved them but only got to look at a few of your pictures because my computer wasn't working right. Looked gorgeous from what I saw!!! Thanks!

A while ago I found and wrote down a number for round tables from this thread. It was 72"- I would assume it's the same for the round tables at each restaurant?? :)

DID YOU USE CHAIR COVERS? AT GOURMET I SEE THE STANDARD CHAIR WITH NO COVER. THE CHAIRS ALSO HAVE HANDLES AND I WAS WONDERING HOW IT WORKED OUT TO COVER IF YOU DID COVER?

ALSO ANYONE KNOW THE ROUND TABLE MEASUREMENTS? HOW ARE YOU DECIDING ROUND VS SQUARE TABLES?

      THANKS

Did they charge you for chair covers at your semi-private? Just wondering whether they would charge if you DON'T do private or semi-private..... if you have any idea, let me know!! Thanks again! ;)

Calabash is nice and neutral to me.  I had some rose petals on the tables and also the centerpieces I purchased from Tai Flora.  As far as space, I would say there is plenty of space.  Again, I didn't have a private.  Our semi-private DID NOT allow for dancing but if you have the whole place, I think you would be fine.

Thanks for the compliment.  Rashel is the bomb.com!  Love her!

Question for any Post Iberostar Suites Brides:

What was the best restaurant that you ate at when staying at the Suites? I'm getting married at the Grand but would like to have the rehearsal dinner at the suites since we have children in our bridal party.

I want to try to book this in advance since majority of my guests will be staying at the Grand. The total amount of people for the reservation will be around 30 people.

Tipping was something I was wondering about before I had left for our DW at IRHS. I kept asking past brides, but no one would really answer me. Here is how we tipped. I'll put it out there :).

Pastor--We didn't tip the pastor because it was included in the package. Didn't think about that one actually

DJ--We rented the Mango Walk Club for 2 hours that included the DJ--No tip either.

Nicole & Tiffany--we tipped $100 to split between them. I wish we could have tipped more, but we were going broke.
We also tipped the restaurant staff for our welcome dinner and the wedding dinner. Our parents and some guests got money together and tipped the wait staff bc they such as amazing job!

              Welcome Dinner--$40

              Wedding Dinner--$80

However, be careful if you tip the staff. we gave all the money to the head waiter and asked him to distribute the tip evenly. We're not entirely sure if they distributed the money, but we hope so!

Bring a lot of singles to tip randomly. You can also get change or singles at the front desk. That really helped out to break some of our bigger bills.

              :)

Please let me know who did you tip and how much?

              Pastor?

              DJ?

              Nicole?

              Etc.

No charge.  It was just set up when we got there.  I didn't even have anyone check before.  I walked in while my guests were seated (we were taking pics) and thought it was fine.

To add to the tipping checklist:

Photographers? I will have 3 photographers?

                    Florists?

                    Make-Up & Hair

Hubby and I honestly thought Calabash was the best place to eat.  The buffet is pretty hard to beat.  If I had to rate it would be:

                      1. Calabash

                      2. Buffet

                      3. Aunt Ruby's

                      4. Mediterranean

I didn't make it to the Mexican so I can speak on that.
