My name is Alexandra. My fiance and I planned to tie the knot on Oct 10, 2009 in LA county. The ceremony will be at Wayfarers Chapel and reception to follow at the Queen Mary. Perhaps it's not a wedding destination for me and my fiance but it is sort of becoming that since our family, friends and relatives are from all over the globe. Our wedding theme is travel so having it at the Queen Mary fits the bill. I am very excited to join this wedding forum so I can get lots opinions and advice from those who have been through it all. I look forward to hear from those who have experience with having their big event at the Queen Mary. I was a little bit wary about the entree selection since there aren't that many to choose from. However, I was pleased to hear from my catering manager that they will work with me if I have a certain menu in mind. But it's always good to hear from those who have first hand experience. Thanks!
